I started caring for pets of my own at 18. I have worked as a vet assistant/tech for over 6 years. I am certified in CPR/First Aid and have worked with pets of all ages. My ex-husband and I raised two dogs from puppies and have adopted/fostered many senior pets. One of our dogs is a tripod, one is epileptic, and one is incontinent, so I have special needs experience. I also have experience caring for donkeys, horses, reptiles, chickens, birds, and fish. I pride myself in being kind and patient in nature. It is of the utmost importance that pets in my care feels safe and secure.

My fur babies are more than just out pets; they are our kiddos. Your babies will be treated as such, too! Before I moved, I provided both drop in and boarding services. At this time, I can only do drop ins. I have subscription to Bark Box and a HUGE basket filled to the brim with toys. We keep plenty of blankets and beds around the home. We have a large sectional that we lounge on and a fully fenced in yard. We also have an exercise pen as well as the following sizes of crates on hand: two large, one extra large, and one small. Let us know what arrangements you have in your home so we can best emulate them. We also have baby gates set up to keep pets separate if necessary, and still allows for free roam in a portion of the house.

Amber is an absolute lifesaver. About the time my dog turned 9 yrs old, he developed separation anxiety. He loves Amber. She is so good with him. She plays with him, let him go in the pool, and gives him lots of good snuggles. She follows all my directions to the letter and is super communicative with me. She sends plenty of messages and photos, and does her absolute best to assure me that Huckleberry is being well taken care of. I could not possibly ask for better care for Huckleberry.

Schedule
I work full-time as a vet tech at a vet clinic in Lithia. I just moved to the area from Southern Indiana. I can do visits on my days off or before/after my shifts.

- I would like to know about any medical, social, or behavioral needs/challenges as well as some of your current baby's favorite treats, activities, and toys! Any ground rules (no jumping, no furniture, etc.) as well as any dietary instructions/needs would also be super helpful. Sleeping and eating schedules are also essential in order for me to provide the best care.
