I've been dog sitting since my early 20s. I have had my own pets as a child from dogs, cats, hampsters, fish, birds, and a hairless rat. I love animals and they seem to love me. I work from home and have a huge fenced in back yard. I have friends who leave their pets with me as well as many strangers. I truly make my home their home when I take care of your pets! Side note: the money earned through this app goes towards my children's college funds and also earns them money as they learn the concepts of a pay check and savings. Amber is the best dog sitter! She cares for our baby Benjamin as well as other dogs she sits. If you want a reliable, caring person, who updates you on the well being of your dog, you’re in the right place!
As a first time user of this app I was very new to this whole process. The day of drop I was informed another dog would be present during the same duration as my dogs. At the time I had no problem with this however I would’ve liked a few days notice so I could have proper time considering cancelling if need be and given a full refund if I so requested it. Seeing as how I had no other option but to leave my dogs there or lose my full payement I went through with the booking. Amber was very good with sending me pictures and updates however, upon seeing multiple videos of this dog humping and showing dominant traits over my dog, I kindly asked her to correct this behavior. But upon my request she told me the CONSTANT humping is normal/playful behavior and did not see any issues with it. Never once in the 3-4 videos that I receive did I hear any corrections being told or see any attempts at stopping the domination. Instead, she proceeded to inform me that my dogs were the issue and were showing aggressive behavior upon hearing this I was very concerned as my dogs have never been aggressive towards others before, but seeing as how he was showing dominant traits and being informed that he doesn’t have proper socialization, I realize that maybe my dogs were uncomfortable with boundaries being crossed. Not wanting any accidents to happen with my dogs being “aggressive “I offered to then have them picked up and cancel the booking. Again with me, asking to cancel the booking I was informed that I would once again not receive any type of refund from her. I found this to be unfair as when I originally booked this I had no intentions of my dogs being around other pets hence why I purposely chose a sitter who did not have any dogs present in their home had I had proper notice and information prior to the date of drop off I would not have put my dogs in this situation. I hope my situation helps others in the future and that they are probably notified more than 48 hours of when another dog will be present during an overnight stay.
Amber was great with my two dogs. She responded fast, kept me up to date with my dogs and sent me photos of them. Thank you again Amber for being great. Definitely will board my dogs with Amber again
Amber did a great job with our fur baby. I really appreciated all the updates and pictures. Will definitely use her services agin in the future.
Amber was great with our goldendoodle! She handled his anxiety away from home well and was so caring and loving towards our pup. I loved all the pictures and videos she sent to keep us updated so we could see our floof while we were away.

Schedule
I work from home and rarely go out so your dogs will be well loved and cared for. If your dog stays with me, I make sure I am present with them 85-90% of the day if not 100%.

I have a huge fenced in yard that I let the dogs out in. I live in a neighborhood so the dogs can be walked. Also, I do normally crate dogs at night unless that is not your preference. The reason is it gives them their own space and sense of security, especially if there are other dogs they are new to. If your dog doesn't normally do this, that is ok. It isn't a have to. I also allow them on my couch (and bed depending on how big they are). I keep them on the schedule you have them on.
A typical day
I have a huge fenced in back yard with some dog toys. We (kids and I) take them outside to play fetch and rug-a-war as well as walls around the neighborhood.
