I love all breeds and will work with them all! I have a huge soft spot for pitties, rottweilers, dobermans, and mastiffs. I also get excited to care for “unusual” animals such as farm animals or more exotic pets. I have spent two years working in doggy daycare/boarding facilities, several years as an animal shelter volunteer and then hired as a paid employee at the shelter, as well as several years of pet sitting and dog walking for friends, neighbors, and now full-time through Rover! I have experience pet sitting in-home as well as in clients’ homes. I have also owned cats, dogs, fish, rodents, and even an iguana over the years; I love all animals! As an elementary schooler I took horse riding lessons that also included basic horse care. I can also bathe, brush, or clean your furry friend’s ears, so long as they are comfortable with me doing so! I regularly do this for my own dog, and have done them frequently in work environments, as well. (Trimming nails may also be discussed during long time periods of pet sitting, however I use a dremel to do this for my dog and not all dogs like them.) Please note I am not a professional/licensed pet groomer, I have just learned these from experience in the business and through research of my own. I cannot cut dog’s hair! I am not currently offering boarding or daycare in my own home for the time being. However, I am comfortable pet sitting at your house, doing scheduled potty breaks and walks or staying there with your pet during the day! I am detail-oriented and meticulously follow instructions and thoroughly clean up if accidents occur. I have experience with all kinds of temperaments and will give your pet what they ask for, whether it is space of their own or lots of cuddles! I have a small dog, a Miniature Pinscher named Cosmo, who loves to run and play with dogs and is available to hang out with yours if they enjoy company from other dogs. He is an adult neutered male and has anxiety meeting new humans, but enjoys being around animals of all kinds once he gets to know them a bit! He has separation anxiety so will be coming with me for drop-in’s and walks more often than not, if your dog gets along with him! **I will not accept any house-sitting requests that require me to leave him home alone all day, I do not think that would not be fair to him.** I would absolutely love to meet your pets before scheduling so that both you and I can make sure I will be a good fit for you, and to answer any questions you may have and to discuss your pet’s unique needs and personality. I can also feed and clean up after any other pets in the home, such as fish, reptiles, and rodents, while I am there taking care of your cats and dogs! In addition to pet care I am also happy to care for any plants you need to be watered, as well as bring in mail and packages if they arrive.

I meticulously follow any instructions you leave me for food, meds, etc. and will keep dogs on leash unless in a fenced area. If your dog walks off-leash I will need to see this during the meet and greet and they must have immaculate recall for me to even consider walking a dog off-leash in areas where it is permitted. (For example: if you have a countryside house with a large yard set far back from the road, I will consider letting them off-leash after seeing their temperament and if they will listen to my recall.) If there is something your pet decides it does not want to do, be it grooming or walking or being petted, I respect their boundaries so as to keep them happy and relaxed. I want them to have a positive experience!

Schedule
I am a full time Rover petsitter! My schedule is purely for watching your pets, so I am able to be fully committed to animals who require lots of supervision/extra care needs. They deserve attentive care, and I am able to provide it! The main time I may be unavailable for walks/drop-ins is from 11am-3pm on weekdays, however that USUALLY is Tues/Thurs. I already have a lot of regularly scheduled walks and visits during that time of day.
