When I stay in your home, I stick closely to your pet's normal routine so they feel comfortable and secure. I'll make sure they're fed on time, exercised, and getting lots of attention (and cuddles if they want them!) I pay close attention to each pet's needs and act accordingly. I pride myself on being dependable and having strong communication skills. I will always keep you updated with messages and pictures so you can relax knowing your pet is in good hands.
Information Amber-Leigh O. would like to know about your pet
Some of the more important things to know about your pet would be their temperament, triggers, and a little history. Every fur baby is different; some want space, and some want cuddles. I will also need to know the feeding routines and what is and is not allowed, their exercise needs, and their medical needs. No bit of information is too small to note. I enjoy knowing every detail of the animals' routine, so I can keep them as happy and on routine as possible.
A typical day
I like to take a calm and low-stress approach to caring for your animals and focus on making sure your pet feels comfortable, safe, and relaxed while you're away. I enjoy stimulating them mentally. It's so much fun to see their little brain working and figuring out puzzles. It's also fun to go for long walks or maybe a short walk for the senior dogs. For cats, of course, we play with lasers and feather toys. They will not be left unattended with these toys unless it's specifically for that purpose.

My family has rescued animals my whole life, and I have worked with all kinds of animals professionally since my very first job at a dog groomer. Since then, I've spent most of my time working at emergency animal vets, with foster dogs, and at doggie daycare! I love working with all species of animals and will treat yours just like my own! I'm here to make sure your pets feel happy, loved, and safe while you're away.

Amber was wonderful with our pets!
Amber was absolutely amazing! We trusted her with our three fur babies—two cats and our young pit mix—and she took incredible care of them while staying at our home. During our trip, she navigated a major heat wave by making sure the pets stayed safe, limiting their time outside and keeping them comfortable. She also handled severe storms that caused a power outage and wind damage to one of our trees. Amber kept us informed every step of the way, helped manage the cleanup, and gave us tremendous peace of mind while we were away. She truly went above and beyond anything we expected. Knowing our pets and our home were in such capable, caring hands meant everything to us. We couldn’t recommend Amber more highly for her love of animals, her professionalism, and the exceptional care she provides for both your pets and your home.
