I work in the veterinary field full time and have been caring for friends and family’s pets since I was 10. I always look forward to meeting new furry friends and would be more than happy to help you out with yours.

Amber took such great care of our pups while we were away for the weekend! Our dogs are anxious around new people and Amber was so patient with them and met them exactly where they were. She came over to do a few drop in visits, so that our dogs could get to know her, before she watched them for the weekend. Our pups definitely fell in love with her and it made us so happy to see photos of our dogs cuddled up next to Amber on the couch!
Amber did a great job taking care of our boys while we were away. This was our first time leaving them in our new house, and Amber sent regular updates with pictures which we appreciated greatly!
Fabulous dog & house sitter! Communications were excellent right from setting up a time to meet and throughout the stay. She managed our very anxious and resistant-to-change greyhound amazingly well - he warmed up to her quickly!! She took great care of him and our home, and we’ll definitely be hoping Amber is available the next time we’re headed out of town.
Amber is wonderful! I don’t think my pets missed me at all. She was great with them.

I have a reliable vehicle to travel to/from your home before and after my shifts at the clinic or anytime on Sunday or Monday. I have experience with administering oral medication to both cats and dogs if your pet has medications they need (my senior kitty does too). My partner cares for my own pets while I’m sitting, so that I can be there for yours!

Let me know if your dog is okay walking with other dogs around, has any special needs or habits when walking, as well as any behavioral issues that may arise.
A typical day
I usually stick to the walking route that owners provide me with, but don’t mind taking your dog to the local trails if the owner allows! I’ve also taken pets I’ve watched (with permission) to my own back yard for fetch :) It can be a nice adventure for the apartment dogs.

Availability
I currently work regular hours at a veterinary clinic, so I am unavailable from 11:30am-7pm Tuesday-Friday, as well as Saturday from 8:30am to 3:30pm. My availability is open on both Sunday and Monday for sitting, drop in visits, and/or walking.
