I have a flexible work schedule November-April. In the summer, Tuesday-Thursday I generally work 8-10 hour days at my office in Del Norte. Friday-Monday I have some more flexibility in my schedule.

I am offering care in your own home to increase pet comfort. I would not bring pets away from the home. This way I can also water your plants, make sure the plumbing and heat are in order, and take care of livestock if needed. I would treat your critters and property as my own, with care. I am very comfortable splitting wood and operating a woodstove.

For dogs, walks to different areas if desired, and games in different areas if desired. I always talk to cats and dogs while in the home. Cuddle with them if/when desired. Different indoor games for indoor pets.

I've cared for pets in many different ways. Helped my dad with the cattle, horses, donkey, dogs and cats for over 15 years when I visit him. I also raised about 100 chickens and ducks, 5 hogs, a dog and a garden of my own for several years in Oregon. I took 2 days of Horsemanship training the summer of 2024. I also love cats and caring for them too.

Amber is a fantastic pet sitter. She has cared for my dog and cat on multiple occasions, and I would use her again in a heartbeat. She kept me updated on how they were doing, and they were so happy when I returned. Amber definitely has a way with animals, and I can’t recommend her enough!
Amber has cared for a cat and a dog, Honey, when she was growing up. Honey was the family pet. Amber has helped me feeding and caring for cattle on my farm. Amber has also fed the neighbor's horse and donkey. Amber is very interested in and dedicated to caring for pets.
