I am an animal lover who has been in the animal care field for about 7 years. I am trained with medicating animals, whether it be oral, topical, or subcutaneously. I have experience with aggressive pets, diabetic/epileptic pets, as well as puppies and senior pets. I can do baths, as well as everything that comes with bath prepping (nails, ear cleaning, a good brushing, etc.) I can also send as many picture and text updates as needed while sitting. Im currently in school for Animal Health and Behavior, in hopes to become a rehabilitator and own my own sanctuary. I spend most of my free time with my dog, a standard schnauzer/poodle mix, whether it be taking him on walks or taking him to the beach. I am really excited to start pet sitting, as I enjoy meeting new people and their pets! I look forward to taking care of your fur-babies! I don’t care for pets in my own home, as my younger dog is selective with other animals. I am more than happy to do whatever is necessary to keep your fur baby comfortable in their home! I’m completely comfortable with doing your own schedule and routine at your home. I keep a clean and tidy home, and will do the same at yours. I understand messes happen, especially with furry friends, but I’m more than happy to clean up any dishes, laundry, basic cleanup etc.

I do not bring client’s pets to my own home, as I have reactive dogs. I will be more than happy to follow your routine and safety practices in your own home/out on walks!

Amber is AMAZING. She goes above and beyond for our 3 cats. Even though 2 of them are seniors who require oral medication! She does so great with them! We came back from our European trip to a clean smelling house and all of their cat bowls cleaned by the sink! Plus she’s so communicative! I can always rely on her to respond quickly and give me peace of mind.
Amber has watched my pets for me multiple times and does an amazing job! She sends lots of photos and updates and my pets like her very much. I would highly recommend Amber to watch your pets while you are away.
Amber was exceptional! She introduced us to doggy calming videos. Amber sent us daily (amazing) pictures of our dog and kept us up to date while we were away. Our dog always sleeps near our bedroom door but when we came back she slept near the stairs where Amber’s room was, waiting for Amber instead of us. Amber is a dog expert, she is now our first choice for dog/house sitting!
Amber took excellent care of Rico. She was able to housesit for three days and spent most of her time with him. He is very spoiled so I didn't want him to left home alone for long periods since he isn't use to that. Rico loves Amber and we will be using her again.
Our cat was well cared for and happy on return from our trip.

Schedule
I’m currently focusing on petsitting, so unless my calendar says otherwise, I should be available when I’m needed. At this time I’m not doing overnight sitting, but will possibly offer that again in the future.
