I have 18+ yrs of experience working in multiple doggy day cares, boarding and grooming facilities. I worked for vets including Dr. Fitzgerald of VCA animal hospital as well as for 5 star pet resorts like Come, Sit, Stay. I love improving the lives of our furry friends, though I truly believe they are the ones that enhance our lives. Not only do I have professional experience, but I have cared for my personal animals throughout my life. My husband, children, and I do Rover as a family business and absolutely love animals! My son (9) and daughter (10) are my big helpers and love being apart of our pet watching business! They both have been around animals since birth and are great with pets! They love to help which is great for me and your pets! It is always a good time for play time and they can keep up with any pet's excitement level! My family and I love being with animals of all kinds and make a great team. Your pet will always be loved, well taken care of, and never alone! Your pet will get the best care possible and all of the attention. I have medical experience and have delt with pets with anxiety so I know the ins and outs of what your pet needs for a safe, healthy, happy, stay! So glad we found Amber! This was the first time taking our boy to daycare and we were in good hands. Drop off and pick up was a breeze and despite some glitches in the app, she kept us updated throughout the day with plenty of activities for our busy body. We will absolutely book again.

Unfortunately, this Rover sitter did not work out for us. I don’t like leaving negative reviews, but we feel it’s important to share our experience to inform other pet parents. The sitter’s profile states that it is a non-smoking household, which was not accurate. We noticed the smell of cigarette smoke when we dropped off Frappuccino, but at that point it was too late. We were worried throughout his stay, as he is not used to this environment and dogs have a much stronger sense of smell than humans, which raised concerns about his well-being. Additionally, the profile mentioned there was only one cat in the home, but there were actually two. Frappuccino requires daily walks in order to go to the bathroom. Based on his behavior when we picked him up, it seems he was not taken on walks, as he had to relieve himself multiple times (around seven) the first night he was back home. He was previously afraid of fireworks, but after this stay he has been experiencing panic attacks even with very mild firework sounds, which is concerning for us. One positive aspect is that he was dropped off at our home, which we appreciated. However, Frappuccino and all of his belongings strongly smelled of cigarette smoke. Since we are non-smokers and are sensitive to smoke odors, we had to bathe him and wash all of his items immediately.
Amber is great with my dogs. She is great at communicating and sending great pictures while I am away.

We love playing, cuddles, lakes, hiking trails, and walks around the neighborhood! My 12yr old boy and 13yr old girl love to help and play so your pet has all day activity! Our children love animals and have been around them their entire lives making them great company for your pet!
