I own a fencing company in the Moab area and am self employed so my schedule is very flexible. I can move things around to accommodate most schedules. And then my other job is training horses and stock dogs at home.

I have a fenced yard, I do have other dogs that are in the house but they can also be put outside in a separate area. I have hunting and working dogs that are in kennels outside in a separate area but your dogs will have nothing to do with them. Your dog will be treated as my own and spend most time inside if they wish, while they are able to go out into a large fenced and secure back yard.

If the dog is aggressive, I don’t have an issue with that and can work with you and your dog but would like to know up front. Other dog aggression. Your dogs name and what they enjoy.
A typical day
I live on the outskirts of town and can go on long walks on the ranch or we can play in either of my 1/2 plus acre fenced yards. Or outside on the property.

Hi there! My name is Amber, I’ve cared for and raised animals my entire life. I’ve got experience in small to extra large dogs and have the space to accommodate either. I work from home as I train horses and train working stock dogs. I have worked as a vet tech. I have extensive experience in dealing with dogs with behavioral issues and have a very patient and empathetic hand with the ones that need a little extra attention. I can offer play dates for dogs or keep them separated and spend the day solely with only your dog. I can accommodate most scenarios. I do have one 10 year old daughter but she has been around dogs her entire life and she is very well mannered. I can offer other accommodations if need be. I can give medication, administer special dietary needs. I can care for special need dogs such as deaf, blind, diabetic, ect. I am mostly self employed and have a flexible schedule and have plenty of time to care for and tend to your dogs. I will involve them in whatever activities are present if they are comfortable or just offer a kind hand when they aren’t too sure. I treat your dog as if it was my own. We will do plenty of outside activities while tending to the ranch or stay inside when it’s hot. If there are any issues I do have separated areas in my home and can separate them. That way. I will not just crate or kennel your dog while it is here. (The only exception will be for extreme aggression)

Amber gave Cody a great stay. Her communication was friendly , prompt, and clear. Cody spent 2 day& nights while we enjoyed Canyonlands & Arches. Would definitely have Cody stay here next time we are in Moab. Cody came home happy, healthy, & tired. Perfect!!
Perfect place for our dog to be babysat while we explored arches! It was a wonderful household, caring and loving. Would come back anytime when we’re in Moab next! Great communication, helped us only got a little lost finding the place. Couldn’t ask for more.
