Please let me know in advance if your dog has a tendency toward reactivity (behaviours towards stimuli that include lunging and barking). I have experience working with reactive dogs and am fully confident handling any situations that may arise. However, I need to be informed ahead of time so I can prepare and create a calm, controlled environment, allowing your pet to enjoy their time outdoors while minimizing triggers and maximizing their comfort.

Sniffari: Neighbourhood walks that go at your dog's pace. For most dogs, a leashed walk is more a mental exercise than it is a physical one. I like to think it's comparable to reading a book - all the smells are a story of what happened that day. I practice patience on walks to let your dog stop and smell the roses, because whose walk is it anyways. Play Time: This looks differently from dog to dog. Some love playing tug, while others prefer a game of fetch. Meeting your dog's physical needs is important for a healthy, happy pup. Enrichment: I have a vast library of creative and engaging activities designed to mentally stimulate your dog and enhance their overall well-being. From puzzle toys to interactive games. I also train dogs for fun - any cool tricks you want your dog to learn?

Walk-Bark-Learn Personalized Care
Expérience en matière de services dédiés aux animaux de compagnie
Hi there, My Name is Amber. Like many dog lovers, my journey began with my own amazing pet, who ignited my enthusiasm for canine care. With a solid foundation from personal dog ownership, I've further enhanced my capabilities through the following professional courses: Dog Walker Certification, Good Dog Academy Canine First Aid, DogSafe Animal Welfare Program, Thompson Rivers University Fear Free Shelter Program Behaviour Adjustment Training, Grisha Stewart Puppy Start Right, Karen Pryor Professional Dog Training program, Karen Pryor Perhaps my most beneficial experience, my role as a Canine Wellness Volunteer at the SPCA, which has provided invaluable experience working with a wide variety of breeds and personalities. With the skills acquired from my personal experience as well as from these courses you can feel confident that I am well-equipped to handle any situation that may arise during our walks or sitting sessions. Please note that I'm currently only available for one-off and occasional walks rather than recurring weekly bookings. If you're looking for flexible, as-needed coverage, I'd love to help!

Cal had such a great time with Amber, he was all smiles and wagging his tail when he got home. Amber was very reliable and kind. We will definitely be booking with her again.

Amber is so great with our little puppy who is 4.5 months old. We trust her so much with our baby!

Smokey loved his walk with Amber! She was punctual and sent me some great photos and a little report of their visit. I will be rebooking!

Amber is amazing! She is very professional and Arlo my dog is happy to see her. He seems better behaved overall now that he is walking with Amber four days a week. I would recommend Amber to anyone looking for someone to help care for their pets.
