I always request to go to clients house, based on operating a rescue from my home & this provides less change and less stress on all pets not having to loose their owner and be relocated all in the same day. Keeping them happy, safe and stress free is priority on all accounts.

I would love to know absolutely everything about your pets, there is never too much information when it comes to the care & understanding on our loved ones. - breed - age - regular routine - favourite toy - allergies - medication - previous medical history - previous personal history - anxiety/behavioural representation - etc. This is at your own discretion to insure I can provide the absolute best care for all your pets!

I have owned & operated Joy’s Rescue since November 2015 rescuing over 80+ animals from dogs, cats & pocket pets. I have worked with all age ranges & worked with a lot of special needs animals. In past even finding accurate prognosis & saving lives. If you have any extra pets beyond cats and dogs we can arrange something that works best for everyone! I love absolutely all animal as my own - no matter how long I get with them.

Amber and Justin took such good care of my pup while I was away. They were able to help me out last minute after my other sitter plans fell through! They were so patient and accommodating with her as she can be a little scared at the beginning, and sent me regular updates to ease my dog momma mind. They also left my place super clean and tidy. Would definitely recommend and book them again.
Once again Amber was amazing! She is so good at understanding my pets personalities and what they need. Truly makes traveling feel much less stressful when you know and can trust someone with your fur babies!
Amber did an amazing job. We were in NYC for 5 days, and she stayed over to look after our two Morkies. She took exceptional care of them and also left the house spotless when we returned. We had complete peace of mind knowing they were in such good hands. Highly recommend.
Amber and her partner Justin were awesome with our cat and dog! Our dog, Freya, is a rescue who has trust issues and is very protective. They spent a lot of time with us before their stay to gain Freya’s trust and she fell in love with them. They went above and beyond and treated her like their own dog. Our cat also has medical needs and they administered her medication and kept track of everything. We had such a great experience with them and will definitely have them to come and look after our girls again!
