I am a full-time teacher-turned-author so I work from home. Pet care fits pretty easily into my routine as I make my schedule. Walking dogs, conducting drop-in visits, and house/pet sitting give me the mental break I need. Other than Church, or running errands, I am pretty flexible with needs.

I need to know if pets are aggressive, have food issues/sensitivities/aggression, or do not get along with other pets. I also need to know if pets have any special needs, requested accommodations, allergies, or medications. I always offer a free and greet ahead of time to prevent any foreseeable issues.

I offer complimentary photos and videos, check-in texts and messages, lots of love, walks, exercise, treats, and fun! I aim for numerous walks daily, visits to the dog park (if desired), and lots of snuggles/cuddles.

Hi! My name is Amber. I am a teacher-turned-author looking to serve your every doggy need. Growing up, I thought I wanted to be a Vet. I spent every Saturday volunteering at the Ross Country Humane Society from ages 10-18 and was part of the Humane Society of the United States Advisory Board. I have spent thousands of hours with animals in shelters/rescues. After much prayer and consideration, God led me to writing instead of Veterinary work. I have experience in pet and house sitting, boarding, and walking. I love pets of all ages, breeds, and sizes, but have a particular soft spot for golden retrievers, huskies, and terrier mixes. As an author, I love showing love to animals and find it to be an excellent and comforting mind-break. Since getting married, I currently offer dog walking, drop-in visits, and house/pet sitting in Chillicothe, Ohio. I don't currently own any pets of my own. I have worked with large and small pets and enjoy spending time with them. From pen to paws, I love serving your dogs through walking, feeding, bathroom breaks, running, and playing. I'm your sitter with a smile and an author who lives to serve! :)

Amber has watched my dog Sam for about the past 4 years each summer when we take our family vacation. She is also was very flexible if we provided last minute dates. Amber was so attentive when we explained what she needed to do, and followed everything perfectly. She made sure he always got food and water and put to bed at night with a treat. She is so good with him and he loves having her come over to watch him so he wouldn’t have to go to the kennel. She also took care of our cat Sebastian while she was there and did an equally amazing job. I would highly recommend Amber as a dog sitter!!
