I was raised in an animal loving family, and I’m now raising my daughter the same way. A few years ago, I took in seven stranded kittens I found on the side of the road, which sparked my love for fostering and pet sitting. Since then, I’ve been caring for pets of all kinds and truly enjoy giving them a safe and loving home away from home.

This was the longest we’ve ever left Jamaica with someone outside of family, and we didn’t have to worry at all. Just like on our shorter trips leading up to this one, she couldn’t wait to see Amber again—she ran right over and barely looked back at us! It’s clear she absolutely loves spending time with Amber, which gives us so much peace of mind. We’ll definitely continue booking with Amber for as long as she’s offering Rover services.

Schedule
I do work outside of the home, but I have close family and friends nearby. Who are always happy to help if needed. My 11-year-old daughter is home from school around 2:30 PM each day, so pets aren’t left alone for long. Your pet will always get lots of attention, care, and love while staying with us.

Safety, trust & environment
We have a fully fenced in backyard that’s great for safe outdoor play and potty breaks. We do have three cats of our own, but they typically keep to themselves and prefer hiding when new pets are around. My daughter is a huge animal lover and is always begging to bring more home. We also have a great relationship with our local animal shelter and nearby vets for added piece of mind.
Pets
A typical day
Weather permitting, we love spending our days outside. We live on a quiet, dead end street, so the neighborhood kids are often out playing and get excited when I bring the animals out to join us. Pets get plenty of fresh air, playtime, and social interaction, along with lots of love and attention throughout the day.
