Since I work from home, I’m able to give your pet plenty of attention throughout the day with frequent potty breaks, playtime, and snuggles. I usually take a midday walk (weather permitting) so dogs can stretch their legs and get some fresh air. I’m flexible with feeding schedules, medications, and special routines, and will do my best to mirror your pet’s normal day-to-day life so they feel safe and comfortable.

Safety, trust & environment
I want your dog to feel like part of the family while they’re here. We have a fully fenced backyard that’s perfect for playtime, and a gated front yard where pups are never left alone. All outside time is supervised, so you can rest easy knowing your fur baby is safe. My two friendly dogs love making new friends and can be great playmates, but I’m also happy to provide quiet time or slow introductions if your pup prefers their own space. At night, one of my dogs cozies up in a crate and the other snuggles with me—I’ll gladly follow your pet’s routine so bedtime feels familiar and comfortable. Here, your dog will be cared for like my own—with love, patience, and plenty of belly rubs. 🐾

A typical day
I do my best to follow your pet’s normal schedule so they feel comfortable and at ease. We start with morning potty breaks and breakfast, followed by playtime to get their day going. Since I work from home, I’m available throughout the day for frequent potty breaks, snuggles, and one-on-one attention. Pets have fresh water available at all times, and I make sure feeding times are consistent with their usual routine. Midday often includes a walk (weather permitting) or backyard play, and evenings wind down with family time, dinner, and cozy cuddles before bed. Cats enjoy their own version of a “typical day,” with fresh water, playtime, cozy window spots, and quiet areas away from the dogs whenever they want their own space.

Where Pets Feel Right at Home 🐾
Pet care experience
I’m First Aid/CPR certified and have been a lifelong pet parent to both dogs and cats. I truly love getting to know each animal’s unique personality and making sure they feel safe, happy, and loved while you’re away. I have hands-on experience with medications and injections, and I’m comfortable with pets who may need a little extra care. My goal is for your fur baby to feel right at home so you can relax and enjoy your time away, stress-free. You can expect daily updates and photos (often more!) so you always know how your pet is doing. Whether it’s playtime, snuggles, or a peaceful walk, I’ll make sure your pet’s routine and comfort come first.

Reviews

Amber is truly an angel to these pets who need someone special to care for them. I am so thankful for the personalized and loving care she gave to Freyja who tends to be clingy. Amber sent numerous pictures of Freyja being showered with love and fun. Thank you again Amber!

Great sitter. Received lots of photos.

Amber was amazing! This was our first time using Rover, she was super responsive and helpful with all our first timer questions. She was flexible with drop off and pick up times. We got pictures and updates throughout our trip, and it was obvious that our dog was having the time of her life. Thank you Amber! Hope to book with you again soon.

Amber is so amazing and we will be sitting with her again. She gave us many pictures of our dog. As well as frequent updates with what the dogs were doing/ and how they were doing. Leaving your dog with a sitter is always stressful but Amber took that stress away because we knew our puppy was getting taken care of. Thank you so much Amber!!
