⏰ Pet care is our full time profession, allowing us to provide consistent care, supervision, and companionship throughout the day! Daniel works weekdays from 8 to 5, but our opposite schedules mean someone is almost always home with the dogs. Our primary focus is boarding in our home, where every stay is tailored to the individual dog. Whether your pup enjoys outdoor adventures or prefers relaxing at home, we strive to make them feel safe, comfortable, and right at home. We also consider nearby house sitting and drop in requests (within 10 to 15 minutes) when the timing and fit are right, so feel free to send a request!

🏡 Dogs in our care stay in a calm, clean home environment where they have the space to settle in comfortably. Each dog receives attentive supervision, personalized care, and activities tailored to their individual needs. Whether your pup enjoys lounging around the house or staying on the move, we’re happy to accommodate both! Our home sits on a little over an acre with a fenced backyard for safe outdoor time. We also have a converted one car garage set up specifically for dog care, with climate control, a doggie door for supervised yard access, elevated beds, crates in varying sizes when needed, and a grooming table for light grooming and coat maintenance throughout each stay. While dogs have access to this space throughout the day, they also spend plenty of time inside the home with us as part of the family. We only crate when necessary for safety or owner preference. Our two senior rescue dogs, Ryder and Remy, are friendly, dog social, and have spent years sharing their home with visiting dogs. Because they’re getting older, we prioritize guests who are respectful, socially appropriate, and comfortable sharing space with others. For house sitting and drop in visits, we follow your instructions closely and keep your dog’s normal routine as consistent and stress free as possible.

Maintenance grooming is included throughout each stay! The leptospirosis vaccine is also highly recommended for dogs participating in swimming, lake trips, or other water adventures. The more we know about your dog, the better we can tailor their stay to their individual needs. We look forward to meeting you and your pup! 🐶

🏕️ Adventure is at the heart of what we do! With your permission, your dog may join us for hikes, lake trips, beach days, or even camping. Whether they’re exploring a new trail or relaxing at home, every activity is tailored to your dog’s personality, energy level, comfort, and training level. You’ll receive plenty of photo updates along the way! We also enjoy visiting our family property in Mebane, NC, about an hour and 15 minutes from home. With 24 private acres, a 7 acre treated pond, and three friendly resident dogs, it’s the perfect place for supervised swimming, running, and exploring in a safe environment.

🐾 A LITTLE ABOUT US & WHAT WE OFFER 🐾 Hi, I’m Amber! Like many dog owners, I struggled to find someone I truly trusted to care for my own dogs. I wanted more than someone to simply feed them and let them outside. I wanted someone who understood canine behavior, paid attention to the little things, and treated my dogs like family. That experience inspired me to build the kind of pet care business I wish I’d been able to find for my own dogs. Everything I do is guided by one simple question: “Would I trust this for my own dogs?” Today, I own and operate an established pet care business alongside my partner, Daniel. Pet sitting isn’t just a side job for me. It’s my full time profession! We specialize in personalized dog care where every guest receives the time, attention, and structure they deserve. While dogs are our primary focus, I also have experience caring for cats, reptiles, rabbits, invertebrates, and other exotic companion and livestock animals. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science with a minor in Entomology from NC State, and over 10 years of hands on experience caring for dogs with a wide range of temperaments, energy levels, and behavioral needs. I’m highly observant of body language and subtle stress signals, allowing me to adjust my approach and help each dog feel safe, respected, and at ease. Daniel is actively involved in day to day care and helps maintain the calm, structured environment we’ve worked hard to create. Together, we’re able to provide consistent supervision and a smooth, low stress experience for every dog in our care. Because we’re intentional about the dogs we welcome into our home, we’ve created a household that’s best suited for dogs who are well mannered, socially appropriate, and comfortable sharing space with others. That allows us to build long term relationships with both dogs and their owners while providing the individualized attention and enriching experiences that every guest deserves! We’re currently accepting a limited number of new clients looking for thoughtful, home based care! ✨ A quick note: This profile reflects only a portion of my work. Much of my schedule is filled by long term, repeat clients through my established pet care business, so I only open a limited number of spots for new families each year. Amber and Daniel have been amazing! I highly recommend. Our meet and greet process made me feel more than comfortable than I would have ever expected. Knowing that her and Daniel support the care efforts made us more at ease knowing it provides flexibility and extra support. You can tell by seeing their own pets that they are nurturing caregivers. Amber has been so attentive with my 2 pups and 3 cats and provided a ton of knowledgeable insight on their care. One of our dogs suffers from separation anxiety and she took extra time in working with us and assisting in training him to feel comfortable. They respected our home and showed so much care and attention to all the animals. We received regular updates and all animals seemed to love Amber (even my regularly antisocial cats!). They can provide a welcoming, clean, safe and well thought out space to board in their home. But, we appreciate that they are flexible to be able board in our home while our pets were initially getting to know her and Daniel, allowing careful consideration from all sides in evaluating if the pets are better suited at home or boarding away. If I could give them an extra star I would!
Amber did an amazing job with my pup, Nova. It’s hard to find people you trust with your pets, but Nova was whining to go back the entire time to the car! Clear communication, very accommodating, and professional all around.
Amber took very good care of my dog. She knows dogs really well and noticed things I wouldn’t think about. She kept his routine, sent clear updates, and I always knew he was okay. When I picked him up, he was calm, tired, and clearly comfortable there. The house is clean and organized, and her dogs are well-behaved. I trust her, and I will book again.
Amber is the best! She took great care of my older dog and took into consideration his age and ability to join in activities, and made sure he still had fun without risk of injury. She gave him his required medications on a strict schedule, and sent photo updates during Zeke’s stay so I knew he was happy and having a good time. Amber’s dogs are such sweet, sociable pups. My Zeke absolutely loved their company! Amber’s home is perfect for dog boarding. The entire house is dog friendly, and she has a safe area set up for dogs to get some quiet time and rest, for both crated and free roaming pups. The fenced in back yard was a perfect amenity for Zeke to play without getting exhausted on a long walk. I was able to enjoy my vacation without worrying about my dog, knowing he was in a calm and structured environment. When my family gets a new pup in the near future I am very excited for it to go on adventures with Amber!
