My name is Amber Leigh and I’ve been offering walks, in home visits, and house sitting in the Whatcom county area for about 4 years now. All species, all breeds, all ages, and all sizes are welcome! Medication administration and miscellaneous special needs are usually never a problem so feel free to ask. I am extremely patient and very compassionate, I will care for yours as if they are my own. I have: - 10 years of independent pet sitting experience - 4 years of previous management experience at All The Best Pet Care - Countless hours of professional training related to animal behavior, health, products, holistic nutrition and care - Experience with both puppies, kittens and senior animals - Experience with (and my own) reactive and leash aggressive dogs

Before my stay I always make sure to meet with my clients and their pets to do a detailed interview covering all of your animals and homes needs. My goal is to keep their schedule and routines as similar to yours as possible for their comfort and safety.

This was our second time having Amber housesit Maple for us and she was great! Maple had a sudden onset of GI issues the day before we left, but Amber kept us updated and handled it well, so we were able to feel comfortable being gone even if Maple wasn’t at her best. We came back to a safe, happy, and healthy pup.
Amber was wonderful! She asked a lot of great questions during the meet n greet, updated us every day while we were gone, and left our place even cleaner than we left it. Maple was well taken care of and we felt at ease with her in Amber’s care. We will definitely book with her again in the future, thank you Amber!!
Amber was an amazing sitter! Highly recommend! Very professional, quick to respond, and took great care of our dog and cat. I think she left the house cleaner than we left it.
Amber is so great with my German Shepard Ruby. I never have to worry when she in her care. Whether it be a walk around the neighborhood or in home house sitting, I can’t recommend Amber enough!

Schedule
I am currently working part time. My shifts are usually 9:00am-5:30pm Sunday and Monday, and 5:00pm-10:30pm Tuesday and Wednesday. Please let me know if this works for you and your animals!
