Hi! My name is Amber, and my husband, Alex, and I have been caring for dogs through Rover since 2016. Dogs have always been a huge part of our family, and providing them with love, comfort, and a safe environment is something we take to heart. After taking a break from boarding to care for our senior dogs and to support our pup Finn through his IVDD recovery, our home is now ready to welcome new furry friends again. Finn is doing wonderfully, and our new rescue, Quark, has brought lots of joy and playful energy into our lives. What We Offer 🏡 A safe, loving home environment - I work from home, so your dog will rarely be left alone. Crates are only used if your pup is already used to them at night or if I need to step out briefly. 🐶 Small, cozy group - I only board up to two dogs at a time to make sure every pup gets plenty of attention, space, and care. 🍽️ Personalized care - Dogs are fed separately to avoid food-related stress, and I’m comfortable giving prescribed medications if needed. 🛋️ Comfort first - Dogs are welcome to make themselves at home, whether that’s lounging on the couch or snuggling up in bed. 💊 Experience with special needs - I’ve cared for dogs with health conditions, senior needs, and post-surgery recoveries, so I understand the importance of patience, gentleness, and routine. About Our Dogs Finn: A senior Jack Russell/Dachshund mix who is laid-back, friendly, and enjoys a calm pace. Quark: Our one-year-old rescue who loves other dogs and making new friends. Requirements To keep every pup safe and happy, we ask that: Boarding dogs are house-trained. Please be honest about this and if your dog has marking tendencies as this may not be a good fit. We understand that occasional accidents happen, but if it is a regular occurrence, it is very timely for us to thoroughly clean up due to having carpets. Dogs do not have a history of aggression toward other dogs or humans. We know how hard it can be to leave your pup behind, and our goal is to make them feel like part of our family while you’re away. You can expect updates, photos, and peace of mind knowing your dog is in caring hands.

Amber and Alex were great with Archie! It was his first time staying at a new place and they did a great job getting him comfortable and helping him socialize with the other dogs. We really appreciated the photo updates and they were very helpful when we had a late change in plans the week before Archie's stay. Highly recommend!
Amber was fantastic! She sent lots of pictures and updates. I felt very comfortable leaving Sansa in her care. I would definitely recommend her to others!

I’ve used this sitter multiple times now, and I can honestly say they’re one of the most reliable and trustworthy people I’ve worked with. From the start, communication has always been clear, timely, and professional, which makes planning so much easier. They take great care of my dog and consistently go above and beyond to make sure everything is handled. I always come home to a happy, well-cared-for pet, and it’s obvious they genuinely enjoy what they do. The updates and photos during stays are also a huge plus and give great peace of mind while I’m away. It’s not easy to find someone you can fully trust with your pet, but this is someone I continue to book with confidence. Highly recommend to anyone looking for dependable, high-quality care.
Sage seemed like she had the best time staying with Amber and Alex. She got lots of love and play time and I received multiple polices a day with updates on how she was doing!
Amber was amazing! Super flexible with pick up and drop off. I had a super busy weekend and was not thinking about our dog at all but Amber made sure to send pictures and updates about our dog every few hours so that I knew that she was okay. Izzy came back so happy and in such a good mood. Will definitely use Amber again!

Since I work from home with a flexible schedule, caring for pets naturally fits into my day. This means dogs will get plenty of attention, affection, and regular potty breaks throughout the day. Mealtime is always consistent, and I’m very comfortable administering medications when needed. I know how important peace of mind is while you’re away, so I provide regular updates and I’m always happy to text or chat if you’d like to check in.

Our home is a laid-back, dog-friendly environment where pups are truly treated like part of the family. Dogs are welcome to curl up on the couch with us or even snuggle in bed at night if that’s what they’re used to at home. They’ll have plenty of space to play and explore in our fully fenced and locked yard, and because I only board up to two dogs at a time, every pup gets individual attention, love, and care without feeling overwhelmed. Daily routines include regular potty breaks, mealtimes on schedule, and lots of playtime or relaxation depending on your dog’s personality and needs. I’m happy to accommodate special routines or administer medications as needed. Owners are always welcome check in, and I’ll send regular updates.

We love keeping playtime fun and safe! Our big backyard gives dogs plenty of space to run, chase tennis balls, and squeak their favorite toys. Whether it’s a game of fetch, tug of war, or just zooming around together, there’s always something to keep them entertained. For pups that enjoy a slower pace, we also make time for belly rubs, snuggles on the couch, and enrichment toys or chews to keep their minds busy. For safety reasons, we don’t take dogs on walks around the neighborhood, as there have unfortunately been incidents with off-leash dogs. Instead, we make sure your pup gets all the exercise, stimulation, and love they need in our home and secure backyard.
