Availability
Currently my schedule is generally Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm with a bit of leeway here and there. I can do walks and drop ins on evenings and weekends. Knowing what your pet needs in advance makes it easier for me to set my upcoming schedule to accommodate them. And as an added bonus when it comes to working from home: House sitting is a breeze! I am able to give tons of attention during the work day and use my breaks to take pups out for walks and play time.

Safety, trust & environment
For my own pets I have two cats and guinea pigs. The guinea pigs have a large cage in my spare room/office and there is plenty of room to board other pocket pets if need be. For other people's pets I will absolutely treat them with the same care and attention as my own. I understand that each pet and family is different so I will use your guidance and details to know exactly what your pet needs to make them happy and comfortable!
Information Amber C. would like to know about your pet
Ahead of time, I would appreciate knowing any pertinent medical information or behavioral challenges just to be sure that all safety precautions are taken. Also, if your pet is following any specific training plan let me know ahead of time so I can educate myself on exactly what you would like me to follow through with.
A typical day
I would love to spend as much time outside with the dog(s) as possible (depending on the dog's mood, of course!). Going for walks and playing in the yard (on leash or off) would be the baseline of what we can do. I'm very open to encouraging training and following through with any current training regimen as well.

Pet care experience
As a lifelong animal lover, I have multiple years experience caring for dogs, cats, pocketpets, rabbits, fish, parakeets, reptiles and chickens. I also have experience providing care in a rabbit/cat/small animal rescue and in stables so I am very well rounded when it comes to all manner of pet care. I am comfortable walking, feeding, playing, etc.

Amber also cares for cats. Learn about their cat-specific care experience.
Reviews

We had an emergency pet request while we were out of town and Amber came at short notice, she is our pet hero! thank you so much Amber!!!!

Thanks Amber for being so great to Oliver! He was so happy. You made our Christmas even better not having to worry about him!

Amber did a great job petsitting for our 2 dogs and 2 cats! She took care of all their needs and they were so happy to spend time with her.
Our minds were at ease with Amber staying the weekend with our pups - she sent pics and contacted us right away when one of our dogs wasn’t eating their meal to see if this was normal and what to do. We will definitely have Amber stay with us again.
