I work full time but my husband works from home and is home most of the day. I am a teacher so I have summers free.

In our home, our dog has the freedom to come in and out as she pleases, she communicates by ringing a bell at our door. She spends time in her crate when we leave but that amounts to less than 5 hours each week. Our dog currently eats three times each day and she usually gets two walks each day (1-2 miles each).

There is no preference on type of dog. We have a love for all in our house. We have lots of experience with puppies but also have had some older dogs.
A typical day
I always make sure to take our dog on at least one long walk and a couple of short walks. There is lots of play time both inside and outside.

We love dogs!! Growing up, I wanted a huge property with a dog rescue. I am still working towards that goal and currently we have one foster fail dog and have fostered over 20 others. We are always happy to have a new friend around to play with our dog and our foster dog (if we have one at the time). We are almost always home and can offer lots of time and care to your furry friend!

Amber was absolutely amazing with our larger lab puppy, Duke! This was his first time away from us, and he stayed with her from Wednesday to Sunday (4 nights and 5 days). She was incredibly attentive and patient with his puppy energy. We loved getting the regular photos and updates, which really put our minds at ease. Amber took him on plenty of walks and even set up a pool for him on the hot days to keep him cool. Duke had a blast, and we will definitely be booking with Amber again. Highly recommend!

There are almost no words to properly describe how wonderful Chili's experience with Amber and her family was. Where do I even start??? I'll do my best to put into words how special Amber is, but truly - it's going to be difficult to do her and her family justice: Amber is not only warm, friendly and caring, but also a total Superhero. She takes incredible care of her family and her own animals, as well as her clients. She and her family welcomed Chili into their home with arms wide open. My extremely spoiled dog received more love and affection from Amber and her entire family - people we had just met - than I would ever imagined possible. They literally gave him so much love and he had so much fun that I was a bit worried that he wouldn't want to come back home with me ;) From cuddles, playtime and walks - he had it all with Amber. She understood all of his needs and habits, and thus took exceptional care of all the above. From daily photos and texts, Amber literally dissolved all of my worries and I was able to enjoy my trip so much more, knowing that my "baby" was in such incredible care with her and her family. They are true animal lovers, and genuinely wonderful, caring people. I just hope she has room for us for future bookings, as her home is absolutely the top of the heap - a real 5 Star resort for pets! Thank you again and again, Amber!!!
