I work 4 days a week, so my availability during the day/morning/early afternoon for most of the week is open to ensuring your home and pet are cared for! Confirmation of dates and times are on a biweekly basis.

My care begins at the first meeting. This is a chance to establish my presence and scent for your animal while they are with their fav person, you! I will notify you when I arrive at the home and will offer photo proof of completed necessary tasks (feeding, medication, play, etc). Lots of lounging and petting will be always be included in excess. My goal is to complete their daily care so that bonding and trust building can begin! It’s not easy without their fav people (you) but I will do my absolute best to make this a positive experience for you and your pet!

A typical day
Firstly I would make sure your pet and I have ample intro time. Allowing them time to get familiar with my scent and intentions is a must! This is usually encouraged with treats, play, or another positive reinforcement. I then familiarize myself with their things, and their space. I want them to have the ability to know that they can choose their socialization with me and that I will respect it. I’m a big fan of lounging, whether it’s on a couch or in the backyard on a picnic blanket. So if your pet loves to sunbathe or be a couch potato, I will be happy to provide the peace needed for such an important activity. If your pet is the hyper type, I will exhaust toys, play, and walks, especially before meals. Somewhere within this busy schedule, I will be taking photos of your pet to provide updates as well as goofy content for you. For specific activities, simply let me know what your pet enjoys and time will be made!

Hello Hello! I’m Ambar. I offer a variety of services for house & pet sitting! I have been around animals as long as I can remember. Dogs, cats, reptiles, fish, birds, you name it! Currently, I’m the go to baby sitter for the family frenchies, Stitch & Luna, whom we lovingly refer to as “the hippos”. Frenchies are very specific, and ours do require medication and a specific diet. I have been caring for them for years! For house sitting, I am able to water plants, pick up mail, take out trash, and bring in packages. If you have specific needs, let’s chat and see if I can do that for you! ————————————— Quick Info: ~ I work Thurs/Fri/Sat 3pm to 9pm & Sun 10am-7pm, so I am able to properly attend to your fur babies during typical working hours the first 3 days of the week. I am a believer in keeping to the pets schedules and making them feel loved and attended to. ~ I am available for overnight stays ~ I require an in person meeting with both the pet and the parent/guardian before I agree to watch them. ~ Additional requests can be made and agreed upon during or after the meeting! ————————————— Hard No’s: ~ Animals must be just about or over a year old. ~ I do not watch aggressive animals. Ambar has been an amazing sitter for our Lola. She was very responsive, provided daily updates with pictures, and was fully transparent with how sitting would work with her job. She gave us plenty peace of mind, much more than with other sitters we've booked simply by her communication and commitment to the services. We also noticed our Lola was happy and not stressed from our departure, giving us a clear indication she was in great and loving hands. Although she didn't have to, Ambar also went above and beyond by leaving the house in a tidy, clean, and welcoming home as it was when first arrived. This is the second time we’ve used Ambar to house sit and watch our babies within the last month. Ambar really does go above and beyond and we’re so happy we found her!! Thank you for taking the best care of Harley and Prince and for the many many pictures and updates we receive while we’re away!!!
Ambar was incredible! She asked all the right questions before and even during her stay with our Prince and Harley. You could tell she wanted to make sure our dogs were comfortable. I’ve never used someone that was so communicative and now the bar has been set pretty high. We appreciated getting so many pictures of our babies all throughout the day as well; pictures when our dogs were fed, sunbathing outside, and just curled up on the couch with her. Ambar will be our new go to when we need dog and house sitting :)
