Welcome everyone, my name is Amaya and I'm 26 years old. Working with animals has always been something I'm very passionate about. With 6+ years of pet care experience anything that has to do with caring/saving animals I'm all in! I recently just landed my dream job so I no longer work in the emergency room saving fur babies so having rover is another way for me to stay connected doing what I love!

I feel so lucky to have found Amaya to care for my adolescent pit bull and senior chihuahua mix while I was away. Above and beyond just starts to describe the job she did. One of my dogs had a last minute issue, and with her veterinary skills, she was familiar and resolved his issue. She’s literally a pro! She also was communicative and sent pictures of the dogs, and very flexible overall. Also very pleasant to work with. Thank you Amaya!
Amaya did an excellent job taking care of Nora. She is very caring and sweet and was especially helpful and accommodating to me because I had a time crunch. She is works for a vet which gave me an extra sense of security that Nora was in great hands. She will be my go to sitter in the future!
