Recently relocated to the Sacramento area! I'm a full-time student at CSUS and work for the university during the school year. I began offering Rover services in the summer of 2022. I've cared for both cats & dogs of all ages, sizes, and backgrounds since then through Rover. I also grew up caring for small, medium, large, leash reactive, energetic, timid, and senior dogs! I love dogs and am always looking for new and different ways to provide them with physical and mental enrichment. I enjoy spending time with dogs, trying to teach them something new, learning more about dogs, and caring for them.

Safety, trust & environment
I currently live in an apartment complex with my 20-lb dog. I live close to a park within walking distance and nice walking routes throughout my neighborhood. Your pets' safety and happiness are the most important thing as well as a stress-free environment. I always try my best to create a sense of normalcy (as much as possible) during their time with me.

Amaya is a great pet sitter! We were gone for 2+ weeks and Amaya stayed with our dog and cat, provided excellent care and wonderful photos every day so we know our babies were well cared for. She definitely has the touch with both dogs and cats - my temperamental one person cat was happily eating treats out of her hand and accepting pets and ear scratches. Super diligent dog care with lots of exercise time and ball throwing. I highly recommend her!
Amaya is impressive in her responsibility, communication and reliability. My dog and cat loved the attention and care she gave them, and my house was spookily clean after her stay. I highly recommend Amaya for house- and pet-sitting!
Amaya is a natural with dogs and a pro pet-sitter. She took care of our 2-year old German Shepard for several days. Our dog can be a little reactive, but Amaya easily won her trust during the initial meet and greet. Our dog was also recovering from spay surgery and had a cone and needed medications. Amaya handled them all easily and confidently. Amaya was also super consistent sending photos of her visits and walks and feedings - all of which included our happy dog! We came home to a well cared for dog who was happy to see us, but who was clearly happy with Amaya's care.
Amaya was a flexible and highly communicative sitter. She sent lots of pictures, took Ellie on several walks, and really cared for her like one of her own animals. I could tell Ellie was so happy when I picked her up. I would absolutely recommend Amaya for your furry friends.
Amaya did a great job taking care of our lab! She was flexible and kept us updated throughout the stay.

Schedule
Anytime I have breaks from my classes and job, such as weekends, summer, and holidays, I can provide my best care for your pet. Your pet's trust and comfort are the most important things to me. I will always try to follow their regular schedule to create a sense of normalcy.
