I’ve grown up with animals and have helped watch friend, family, and neighborhood pets since I was young. I’ve had dogs and cats and rats, and fostered rabbits. My first job was at a veterinary office and I used to volunteer at the local animal shelter where I lived prior to moving to Charlottesville. I recently had to say goodbye to my rescue pup, Beau, so I have plenty of love and attention to give to your fur family member!

Amaris was fantastic! She connected with our pets immediately, proactively communicated with us before, during, and after our trip, and took such great care of our babies. As pet parents, our separation anxiety is way worse than our pets’, but with Amaris taking care of everything we were able to completely relax and enjoy our trip. Highly recommend!

Schedule
I work from home and have a flexible schedule that allows me to do drop-in visits at times that work best for your pet or host them here in my home with plenty of attention to give.

I follow instructions closely and it’s important to me that your pet can have as close to their normal routine as possible. At my home, I have a fenced in yard so we are able to enjoy sunshine and fresh air as often as needed in between longer walks or outside adventures!
A typical day
I’m a big fan of play time and mentally stimulating your pet. Are they a cuddle bug or want to play fetch nonstop?? Are there any new tricks they’re working on? Let me know!
