My mom taught me the importance of pet care and the responsibilities that come along with it. The pets I grew up with often varied by the years, yet dogs and cats were a staple for the family. From retrievers to pits, to hermit crabs, fish and turtles and parakeets, I always had to have my days full of fur, scales and feathers. Currently I am a caregiver to 3 chickens, a cat and a man - oh wait, the last one is just my hubby! Eugene, our domestic medium hair has showed zero signs of jealousy when I spend time house sitting for my friends, although maybe he's plotting my death some days - who knows. For now, he seems quite alright with his Fancy Feast Petites awaiting his returns from evening strolls around the yard. I think what sets me apart from your average sitter is how I react to situations from pet life! 3 Houdini hens will keep you on your toes and remaining gentle, firm and calm has always been best practice. I'm also a massage therapist! And what puppy doesn't love a professional belly rub? As long as the communication about what is preferred for each pet is relayed, I believe in my ability to protect the nature of the environment and respect the wishes of the owners in regards to boundaries for pets and their normal routines. I have fencing for my own chickens with a chicken tractor and Eugene is a beautiful fixed queen who stays in during the day with plenty of water and roams the night. He's pretty independent. I have experience with kenneling, leashing, shock effect, and other fencing options.

My cat Eugene is a fixed indoor by day, outdoor by night cat. He's got me on a strict early morning routine so I'm not afraid to be up at early hours to care for others' pets. Currently, I am not accepting in-home daycare for the sanity of my cat. I only travel to the client's home to stay with their pet. I believe it really keeps them more at ease with me and allows me to connect easier on their level, being in an environment they know and love.

Schedule
I enjoy flexible hours as a Licensed Massage Therapist and love filling the gaps with fur baby love! This includes my own time with my cat and three chickens as well! Fortunately the hubby is around and available to pick up the slack when I am called out for my clients' needs. I do over night stays for $50 per night. Availability for walks/ drop ins/ potty breaks: Monday mornings before 8:30am, afternoons from 12:30-1:30pm, evenings after 7pm. Tuesday mornings before 7:30am, afternoons from 3pm - evening. Wednesday mornings before 8:30am, afternoons from 12-1:30pm, evenings after 7pm. Thursday mornings before 8:30am, afternoons from 12:30-1:30pm, evenings after 7pm. Fridays - all yours, except I do a quick bank run around 9am. Saturday mornings before 8am, afternoons from 4pm - evening. Sundays - all yours again!
