What sets me apart is the extra care, attention, space, and experiences I provide for every dog in my home. I want your pet to feel like they are on a little vacation of their own, not being watched, but genuinely cared for, loved, and included. They may not even miss you (just kidding). I’m patient and reassuring with anxious dogs, gentle and attentive with senior pets, and consistent with puppies who are still learning. I carefully follow feeding, medication, potty, and walking routines as provided by their owners, while reinforcing basic manners and positive behaviors when appropriate. Most importantly, I treat every dog as an individual. Some pups want to play all day, while others are happiest curled up beside you. I respect those differences and make sure each dog receives the attention, exercise, rest, and affection they need to feel comfortable. While you’re away, you can expect frequent updates, photos, and honest communication so you never feel out of the loop. My goal is simple: for your pet to feel safe, happy, loved, and right at home—and for you to have complete peace of mind knowing they’re in caring hands.

Amarilis was easy to connect with, punctual and a great help with my dog. I booked a last minute request and she was able to accommodate me by taking care of my dog while I was out of town. She followed his routine and it allowed for the stay to go smoothly. I recommend using Amarilis and I will be booking with her more often.
She did great
Amarilis has a very sweet personality. My baby Rocky she a very old dog and doesn't get along with many so I was skeptical about leaving him with a stranger for 6 hours. During our meet and greet, she made me feel comfortable about it. At first Rocky didn't want to be bothered, as always!. She responded very professional about it . She told him she was a friend and hugged me. I thought that was funny. After a while Rocky jumped on her and allowed her to play with him. She reassured me everything will be okay and it was. At my request, she sent photos and a time frame of what was going on throughout the day. I knew when Rocky was eating, walking, etc. He loves to run and was allowed to do so in her open Style home.
Omg! This girl right here is a life saver! She was available last minute. I booked her for a 2 day stay and man. Her home is so large and the yard is a nice sides for my Spotty to run around. Her home is located on a very quiet block. Many family next door, which I loved. She keep me posted throughout the day. She even let me FaceTime her to speak with Spotty when I couldn't sleep. She was very flexible and caring.
I hired Amarilis for a week to watch Sandy. She is a 5 year old border collie. She is my heart and I was so upset to find out I couldn't take her on my business trip. I heard of Amarilis via a mutual friend. She said Amarilis was very sweet, warm and love dogs. I booked a meeting with her and I fall in love with her personality. She truly loved my dog as her own. The connection with Sandy and her was almost instant. She keep me informed daily and whenever she walked, feed, or played with Sandy. She SENT PHOTOS and I felt like I was there with them. She has a nice backyard that Sandy loved. Her home is very spacious, which allowed my big dog to move around with ease. I will definitely recommend Ms. Amarilis!!!

Schedule
Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine, and I’m able to provide consistent, dependable care throughout the week. I work Monday through Friday as a teacher, with weekends, holidays, and breaks off. My workdays are not long, which allows me to spend plenty of time with the dogs in my care. I leave home around 8:45 AM, giving me time each morning to take your pet for a walk, provide breakfast, and enjoy some early playtime and attention before I head to work. I’m typically home by 4:00 PM, and on some days I’m home as early as 1:00 PM, giving me even more time for walks, play, potty breaks, cuddles, and one-on-one care. I also make every effort to maintain the schedule your dog is used to at home. Keeping familiar feeding, walking, potty, rest, and play routines can make a big difference in helping a dog feel comfortable and relaxed in a new environment.

I provide a safe, comfortable, and loving home where every dog can feel at ease. I have a dedicated guest room where your pet can truly make themselves at home. I set it up with their bed, food, bowls, toys, and anything else they need. They have free roam of the room and can enjoy their favorite toys and ropes while relaxing or playing. During the day, they are welcome to join me throughout the rest of my home and become part of my daily routine. At night or whenever they want some quiet time, they can retreat to their own comfortable space. I follow your pet’s usual feeding, walking, potty, and rest schedule as closely as possible to keep their stay stress-free. I also have baby gates available for safe separation when needed. My goal is simple: your dog should feel like they are home, just in a new home for a little while.

A typical day
A typical day depends on your dog's needs. I keep every pet active, engaged, and happy with activities tailored to their personality and energy level. We enjoy daily walks, playtime, enrichment, and plenty of affection. I’m close to a gated dog park for supervised off-leash play and just a 5-minute drive from a large park for longer walks and exploring. At home, I offer interactive play, puzzle toys, basic training reinforcement, and plenty of one-on-one attention, all in a playroom set up for your pet. For seniors or anxious dogs, I adjust activities to their comfort level with shorter walks, gentle play, and quiet downtime. I also offer complimentary washes for pups who get messy or love water.

- To better provide the care and love required, I will need to know of any health conditions, such as anxiety problems, heart problems, worms, etc. Being separated form their owners can be a very stressful event for dogs and so I will also need to know they schedule you follow at home to minimize stress and anxiety. Knowing the dogs breed is also an important fact to now. This will help me plan a fun and beneficial stay.
