When caring for pets in a client’s home, I follow their established routines to help pets feel safe and comfortable. I provide feeding, fresh water, walks or litter care, playtime, and plenty of attention and affection. I make sure the home is kept clean and secure, and I closely monitor pets for any changes in behavior or health. I also provide regular updates and photos so clients have peace of mind while they’re away.

Amari took care of my shy bernedoodle Molly at two different dog care centers—we followed him from the first to the second because he gets that temperament, rather than size, is what matters for my Molly to socialize comfortably. He is truly sensitive to dogs’ needs and peculiarities and he is gentle and caring while keeping things fun. I highly recommend him to other dog parents.
Amari has taken care of my sweet boy Jäger for daycare countless times and I literally couldn’t think of a better person to watch my dog! He’s so personable, silly & clearly a dog person. My pup can be overstimulated and a handful (he’s 100lbs) but Amari has always taken such great care of him & has learned him so well! It’s hard to find genuinely great people you completely trust with your pets and I’m so glad I found him!
We’re so happy to recommend Amari! He took amazing care of our energetic pitty puppy, Bucatini, at our old doggie day care, and it was clear from day one that he really connected with her. Amari always made sure Bucatini had a great mix of playtime with other dogs and plenty of one-on-one attention. He was super thoughtful about keeping her engaged—bringing out toys, watching her energy levels, and making sure she was having fun while also feeling comfortable and cared for. You could tell he genuinely enjoyed spending time with her, and she absolutely loved him. We always felt totally at ease knowing Bucatini was with Amari. He’s attentive, kind, and truly great with dogs. We’d recommend him in a heartbeat to anyone looking for a trustworthy and loving caregiver on Rover.

Schedule
Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine, and I currently have open availability to provide flexible and reliable care. I’m able to accommodate walks, drop-ins, and extended stays throughout the week. In the future, my schedule will shift to three days a week, but I will always keep my availability updated and communicate clearly in advance. My goal is to remain dependable and consistent so pets can maintain their routines without disruption.

- Before caring for a pet, it’s important for me to know their daily routine, feeding schedule, and any medical needs or medications. I also like to learn about their temperament, energy level, and how they interact with people or other animals. Knowing their likes, dislikes, and any triggers helps me provide safe and comfortable care. Emergency contacts, vet information, and household guidelines are also very helpful to have ahead of time.
