Pets are the sprinkles of life!
I have had a love for animals ever since I was a young child. I enjoy any interaction with animals. They genuinely put a smile on my face and make me forget about my worries. I had a senior dog who was in great health and lived to be over 15 years old. When I told people her age, no one believed me because of how lively she acted. She was my first pet and I cannot imagine having gone through my childhood and adolescent years without her by my side! I have volunteered numerous times at animal shelters and vet clinics. Also, I have taken care of several of my neighbors' pets who range in size and age for various lengths of time. I treat pets like they are my own and take very good care of them, making sure that they are well fed and happy. When I would do drop ins, I usually stayed longer than was needed just because I saw how happy the pets were every time I came over to check on them. I am a very organized, hard working, outgoing woman who has a passion for animals. My dog enjoyed my singing so maybe your pets will too! I would use a gentle tone when initially speaking to your pet so that they will get used to me being around them and not feel threatened. I really do believe that I take after Dr. Doolittle in that I feel like I can really understand how an animal is feeling. I can easily sense when an animal is uncomfortable and I will do my very best to make sure that your pet has a great time while their parents are away! I always made time for my pet’s needs and I will do the same for your pets! It will not be an issue for me to take your dogs on walks or to clean your cat’s litter box. I am a dependable person so your pets will be in good hands! I enjoy taking pictures and videos of the animals that I care for and sending them to my clients. This allows me to give them updates as to how their pets are doing and ease any worries that they may be having while away. I would be more than happy to follow any special instructions pertaining to your pet.

I do not currently provide day care or boarding services at my home. It would be very nice to provide these services in the future

Amara treated my fur babies like family. Although my cats were extremely shy, she made every effort to make them feel safe and loved, ensuring all of their needs were met. Amara was very responsive and attentive to any changes that occurred. I would recommend her to pet parent who wants the very best care for their babies!!!
Amara was absolutely AMAZING! This is the first time we have used a dog/house sitter outside our group of friends. Our dogs loved Amara upon meeting her during the meet and greet and although we were anxious of using someone we didn't know, seeing how our dogs were comfortable with Amara and how she interacted with them helped ease some of of our worry. Knowing how we were nervous, Amara did a great job with sending us frequent updates/pictures of our pups throughout each day and was quick to respond to our text messages when we checked-in with her. Amara also helped us when we were in a bind an needed her to stay a few extra days outside of our original booking. Amara left our house in excellent condition and our dogs well cared for. Amara is a NUMBER 1 dog sitter and we will definitely use her again!!!
We were very apprehensive to leave our ‘fur-baby’ with anyone for a week’s time. Amara quickly calmed our fears through frequent communication and pics! Our pup appeared to have adjusted to Amara in short order! The house was left as we left it, and Amara followed the instructions left for her. We would not hesitate to recommend Amara to care for your fur babies!
Amara is a fantastic sitter! She sent regular updates and photos, and made sure my pups were well taken care of.
This was our first time experiencing a dog sitter and we’re sold! Amara is amazing. She and our dog are best buddies. Our dog took to her instantly. Amara is a ‘dog whisperer’ she’s calm, caring, patient and gentle. She’s intuitive as well. We highly recommend her (but we want her for ourselves❣️)
We were going on a last minute trip so I reached out to Amara to see if she could help us with our pup. She was great! We met for a meet and greet and she was so friendly. During the stay, Amara sent a bunch of photos and kept me updated on how everything was going. She was very communicative and ensured to follow all the instructions for our pup. She left the house perfect and even brought in packages while we were away. I definitely will use her again in the future. My pup loved her!!!!

Schedule
I currently work full time so I would be able to stay with your pet throughout the day and provide outstanding care to them when I don’t have to work.

- I would like to know how much exercise your pet needs, what your pet likes to typically do, and their eating schedule. Information regarding their behavioral issues, things that they are afraid of, their favorite toys, and any other interesting things or habits about your pet would be very helpful in knowing before booking with me. Also, I would like to know if your pet is aggressive towards other animals or people. Please let me know if your dog has any allergies or other medical conditions. I do not discriminate against any breed.
