Pet care experience
Veterinary technician for 24 years!
I have been in the veterinary field for 24 years, so I’ve been able to love on all types of pets young or older, small or large. I also have 6 pets of my own (2 dogs and 4 cats). Being a vet tech I am able to give injections as well as oral medications if needed. I have experience with elderly and special needs pets as well. I have a vast knowledge of training as well and would be thrilled to help teach some new tricks or have fun with old ones too!

Amanda was amazing!! She went above and beyond with our senior dog (Ralph) who has significant trouble walking. She administered pain meds, helped Ralph outside, and even purchased a special solution to soak Ralph's toenail in because it was damaged. Amanda took wonderful care of Ralph and was the best pet sitter we've ever had!
Amanda should be at the top of anyone’s list for consideration as a Rover. Not only does she have several pets of her own (rescues), she is also very knowledgeable in medical care for pets as she has worked for veterinarians for years. Amanda can handle any situation given to her and will provide the best care and service possible for you fur baby. She is kind, trustworthy, and has an open heart for all pets and animals in need. Amanda is simply the best.

I currently create my own schedule and while I do have to be on-site this provides me a lot of flexibility to schedule visits with your pets.

While I’m unable to provide in my home boarding (mostly because of elderly pets) I would be happy to come to your home and care for any of you babies scaly to furry.

A typical day
This is totally based on you and your pets. I have one very active dog that needs puzzles and time to run to get her energy out as well as seniors that just want to be couch potatoes. Your pets needs are what come first.
