Availability
I plan on staying inside with your fur babies for most of the day, occasionally I do go out to run errands but it's never more than 4 hours. I also do class remotely. I am very active and love to go on long walks and hikes if your dog is energetic, but I can also stay at home and cuddle with your fur babies if they are not as active or on the senior side.

Information Amanda Z. would like to know about your pet
Please let me know if your pet is leash/dog/small animal/people reactive. Depending on the case I can still work with your pet, I just need to know ahead of time. Communication and honesty is key for all bookings
A typical day
I love going on walks and hikes, or around the neighborhood. Being outside in general is very therapeutic for both me and your dog. I will take my time on walks if allowed, and always prioritize the safety of your baby. For cats I will spend the majority of my time with them in the house playing games or coming up with treat puzzles.

Pet care experience
UPDATE MAY 2026: for house sitting I am fully booked for the entire month of June!! I am still available for dog walks and drop in visits. Thank you again to all of my lovely clients ❤️❤️❤️ Hello, my name is Amanda and I've been caring for animals almost my entire life! I started dog walking when I was 14, then got my first job at a pet boarding facility when I was 16, then started my career in Vet Med at 18 :) I am 25 now and I truly could not see myself doing anything else.

Reviews

Amanda is the best! Sends the sweetest pictures, videos, and descriptions of their day!

Amanda was excellent with our two large dogs. She took great care of them, made sure they had lots of exercise and attention. Amanda sent us lots of pics to keep us posted while we were away. Amanda is very reliable and highly recommended.

Amanda was amazing with our 16-year old dog! We are already planning to use her again! She took care of him in our home, and we felt totally comfortable with her. She also sent regular updates to me along the way! I would highly recommend her! TS

Amanda is wonderful with my dogs. I highly recommend Amanda, and will absolutely book her again.
