I’ve been pet sitting for about 10 years and have experience caring for all kinds of pets and personalities. I really focus on making pets feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while their owners are away. I’m comfortable with high energy puppies who need lots of play and structure, as well as senior dogs who need extra patience, care, and attention. I’ve also cat sat many times and have a calm approach that helps even the most timid animals start to feel comfortable and come out of their shell.

I prioritize creating a safe, calm, and comfortable environment for every pet in my care. In both my home and a client’s home, I make sure pets have access to fresh water, regular meals according to their schedule, and plenty of attention and exercise. I follow any specific instructions the owner provides regarding feeding, medication, routines, or behavioral needs. Safety is very important to me, so I ensure doors, gates, and leashes are always secure during walks or outdoor time. I also keep the environment clean and free of hazards. I pay close attention to each pet’s behavior and well-being so I can quickly notice if something seems off and communicate with the owner right away. My goal is to make pets feel comfortable and cared for while maintaining the routines they’re used to so their time away from their owner is as stress-free as possible.

Amanda has been taking such great care of Mushroom over the past month, and we really appreciate her. She handles her drop in visits so well-making sure Mushroom eats, drinks water, goes potty, and gets plenty of playtime and attention. It gives me peace of mind knowing she’s in such good hands while I’m at work. We’re so grateful to have Amanda helping and being part of Mushroom’s growth. Highly recommend! 🐾🎀
Amanda was amazing with my dog!! She kept them happy active and well cared for. I loved the updates she sent and could tell my pup felt safe and loved the whole time.
Amanda took such good care of my senior golden while I was away. Leaving an older can be stressful but she was patient and attentive with my dog that I felt at ease with him in her care. Amanda sent regular updates that made me feel like my dog was well taken care of. So grateful for her and would recommend her to anyone.

Harmonogram
I work remotely with a flexible schedule, which allows me to easily plan my day around the needs of the pets I’m caring for. I know how important routine is for animals, so I make sure feeding times, walks, playtime, and bathroom breaks stay consistent with what they’re used to. Being home during the day also means I can give pets plenty of attention and check in on them throughout the day.
