I’m an animal lover with years of pet care experience. Your dog enjoys the supervised run of my pet-safe home which includes a big fenced yard. Cuddles and naps on the couch and in the bed are welcomed. We take twice daily long walks and daily leashed lake swimming or wading in summer. I am experienced in senior dog and puppy care and at administering medication and following special diets. My beagle Toast loves company and I treat your fur baby like my own.

Amanda is kind, attentive, and a whole lot of fun for the dogs. She babysat Lenny and he had the best time adventuring around her yard, long walks, and at the lakeside. We are so happy to have found Amanda when in MI for a wedding. Highly recommend

Amanda is a wonderful caregiver and our eleven year old Labrador had the time of her life under Amanda’s care. We received daily reports and photos of our dog swimming, strolling and loafing about Amanda’s house on furniture we’d never allow her to use at our home! We will definitely use Amanda’s services whenever we go out of town. Our pup clearly had the time of her life! She is a 5 star caregiver.
It was the first time we ever boarded our dog, so we were quite nervous. Amanda was great. She communicated often and sent so many pictures. Stella was very well taken care of.
Amanda was very sweet and great with Lulu. Lots of adorable photos. And flexible.

Schedule
I work from home as a graphic designer and I have an MFA in Drawing and an active fine art drawing and printmaking practice. Pets are attended to at all times as I work in the same room where they play. I take plenty of play and walk breaks. Art materials used are non toxic and kept locked away from pets. I often stretch pets and if I sketch yours you may keep it!

I have a fenced yard and my home is pet proofed. I have a friendly dog and cat. Pets are attended to an all time and never left alone. Cats get their own room and dogs may sleep in their kennel or on the bed.
Pets
A typical day
Dogs have daytime supervised access to a dog door and a large fenced yard. They are taken in long walks twice daily. We have a shared beach where dogs may swim (on leash) if you give approval. Cats have their own room (or cats from the same family share.) They have plenty of toys, a big window and lots of places to climb and perch. A secure pet door allows them to see family activity. When designing I work in the same room as Kitty and take frequent breaks for playing.

- Please tell me if your pet has any special needs or preferences. I have a resident dog, cat and parakeet and the dog and cat are great with other pets. Older puppies and kittens are and fine but all dogs must be potty trained and cats litter trained.
