Hi there, I'm Amanda! Thank you so much for visiting my profile. I've been a professional pet sitter since 2017. My pet sitting "career" was established and flourished when I resided in Northern Virginia taking care of cats, dogs, hamsters and even fish. In December 2023, my fiancé and I relocated to Wilmington where I currently reside in RiverLights and am continuing to work on building an established clientele. I've been an animal lover for as long as I can remember and I assure you I have what it takes to take care of your pet(s). I am a cat momma to a sassy, orange tabby and I've had him since he was about 6 weeks old where I picked him up from a gas station. I also grew up in a cat household since birth. I have spent time volunteering for the SPCA which is where my love for pups began to flourish. I understand the responsibility, love and attention animals need and I understand the feeling that pets are our children. I assure you I will provide the utmost care for your family member and will offer lots of love and attention :) I am honest, trustworthy, reliable, friendly and passionate. All qualities I find to be relevant to providing for a pet! Your lovebug(s) will be in good hands with me. I'm a full-time, remote employee and therefore can offer flexibility in the schedule. Additionally, as long as you have wi-fi, I'm happy to accept overnights. I care for each pet as if they were my own; each pet gets my utmost attention and all of the love at each visit. I care for each pet as if they were my own. Each fur babe is given my utmost attention; I provide lots of love and a safe space so they feel comfortable. I can follow a precise routine should that be provided by the client's and I try to keep everything as "normal" as possible while the client's are away.

Amanda was terrific! This was the first time we had booked her, and we will be doing so for all our future needs, provided she is available. Amanda stayed at our house and took great care of our dog, Mia. Mia is a little skittish with new people, but Amanda was able to get Mia comfortable with her in a very short period of time; lots of spoiling and belly rubs helped. We got daily pics and funny updates twice a day, which always helps when you are leaving your pet with someone new. Amanda took great care of Mia, and our house looked just as we left it. She even washed the sheets and towels, so we came home and didn't have to do anything. Amanda went above and beyond, and we are thoroughly pleased with her services/stay.
Amanda was excellent. She sent us way too many pictures,(cause it took too much of her time) but we loved them all!! She cared for our cats the way we would have cared for them. Actually, she played with them much more than we do or would!! We were completely satisfied with her care of our "babies''!! Would absolutely use her again.
Amanda did such a great job staying at our apartment and taking care of my elderly dog and cat. She kept me updated consistently and sent me plenty of cute pics during the time we were gone. My dog is not always the easiest to watch, but Amanda handled everything so well and I am so grateful. I felt so confident the whole time we were gone that our pets were in great hands.
Amanda is by far the best cat-sitter we’ve ever had! She definitely went above and beyond and followed every instruction perfectly. We got tons of pics of our sweet kitties and they were so well cared for!

Schedule
I work remotely and can offer flexibility with scheduling. I am accustomed to a consistent and regular client base in DC and am looking to build that type of relationship with clients in Wilmington.
