Retired, Full-Time Animal Lover!
Hi! My name is Amanda, I’m retired from the Navy and currently a caretaker for my mother who is struggling with Alzheimer’s. Due to life’s current circumstances, I’ve been unable to return to work full time. I can’t think of a better way to earn some income than caring for animals!! My schedule is generally flexible so I am able to accommodate furry friends who need a little extra attention. My sister is also on Rover and we often work together but only if both of us are present for the meet & greet! My passion for all animals was born on my dad’s farm where I cared for many different animals as a young girl. I’ve had my own dogs my whole life and have extensive experience as a foster mama for pups. I also have experience caring for animals with special needs, whether physical, medical, or emotional. I look forward to meeting you and your and furry family members and will treat them like my own if given the opportunity! Thanks for checking me out!

Gives me peace of mind while I'm away knowing that someone so dedicated to my pets' well-being is watching over them for me. Amanda is dependable, respectful and she always provides timely updates with photos to let me know how things are going. She's the best!
This was our first experience with rover and Amanda. She was a dream pet sitter ensuring our boys were loved on, taken care of, and not lonely. I would highly recommend her and we would use her again without hesitation. Amanda also changed the sheets and washed them so there was little to nothing to do housekeeping wise when we returned! Thank you again Amanda, it was a pleasure.
Amanda was fabulous. My boys love her and she made us feel so comfortable while we were gone. I loved the multiple photos and updates everyday. We will definitely ask Amanda to dog sit for us again.
Amanda did a great job watching our dog. She kept us informed everyday on how everything was going with our dog. I highly recommend Amanda for house/dog sitting.

I booked Amanda on short notice to watch my dogs in my home overnight for the first time. I have 5 dogs ranging from puppy to over 100 lbs. she exceeded all expectations and was very communicative and sent pictures throughout the day to show me how well they were doing. They all warmed up to her quickly and it eased the stress and worry of leaving my dogs with a new person. I felt so relieved they were in good hands. When I arrived home from my trip, the house was cleaner than I had left it. She had washed all the dog bedding and even baked me the cutest cookies I’ve ever seen. Will definitely be booking in the future!

I’m very flexible throughout the day. I'll love your animals like they are my own!! I'll send you several updates daily on their play and cuddle time and walks.
