Pet care experience
Pumpkin Spice Pets - Putting your pet first
I am currently employed as an auxiliary at the PDSA vets. I have years of experience working in a veterinary environment, both general practice and emergency care. I also have 6 years experience as a pet photographer. Dogs - I have had dogs personally for most of my life and love working with them in my job. I love each dog from the small and sassy to the big and loveable. There is no dog that is too much of a challenge and all sizes, breeds and behaviour types are more than welcome. Cats - I have had cats personally and worked with them professionally. I understand the importance of boundaries and respecting the cats space whilst being able to build a bond of trust with them. Exotics - I have experience in caring for a wide range of exotic pets including: snakes, lizards, rodents and aquatics

Ratings and reviews
Amanda was above and beyond. To avoid leaving him alone needed my old staffie walked for an hour while I attended an optician appointment. Day was a downpour. Amanda arrived bang on time. Offered to pay for coffee so she could sit in a cafe. Amanda declined saying she knew some dog friendly dry places to visit and a dog friendly cafe if needed. Vinnie was immediately comfortable with Amanda. On their return Vinnie managed to have a new toy - said I would reimburse her, no at all despite the relentless rain they had had a great time. Amanda was great, I would hesitate to recommend her and rebook if required. Thanks

Calendar and availability
Schedule
I work at the vets part time and nightshift. This leaves plenty of availability for pet sitting and walks. If you would like an extended period please do get in touch.

Safety, trust & environment
I would care for your pets as if they were my own. I have experience in different types of care including pets with epilepsy and diabetes. I want your pets to have the best time and happy to send photos/videos as often as you would like

A typical day
One of my favourite things to do with dogs of any activity level is to get their favourite treats and hide them in crevices of a tree. They engage their brain in a big way trying to find them all and use their nose. It works well to get both mind and body in gear and they love it
