Life is richer with a dog!
As a young girl, I was befriended by two stray German Shepherd dogs that I named Poochie and Sweetheart. The three of us were inseparable. This childhood love grew into an adoration for giant breeds. As an adult, I shared 13 years of life with Lucy, an intuitive, strong-willed English Mastiff, with a keen sense of humor, always ready to share her kind-hearted and gentle spirit. Her passing has left me with experience, time, and lots of love to share with your dogs. Throughout the years, I have worked at veterinary clinics and boarding facilities as a kennel attendant. While living in the Colorado Rockies, Lucy and I became a certified therapy team and volunteered our companionship with the elderly living in nursing homes. In addition, I have shared my home as a foster animal parent. My experience is not limited to our canine companions. I have also cared for chickens, guinea pigs, mice, bunnies, cats, a wild cardinal family, a squirrel, and a couple of horses and miniature cows along the way. I consider each encounter with an animal to be an honor and privilege.

Amanda took great care of our two dogs and two cats. She has a way with animals and even my less social animals warmed right up to her. Amanda also provided regular updates and photos of all the animals which I appreciated.
Amanda is amazing. My animals immediately fell in love 🥰. She is great about sending pictures and updates.
Amanda was lovely- our giant boy is a handful and she paid close attention to his needs, kept in regular communication with us (at our request), and made adjustments to make him as happy and comfortable as possible.
Amazing sitter! So attentive to my pets. Amanda stayed in my home and took care of my two small dogs. She was very communicative and kept in contact with updates. I appreciate having her available and she gave me such great piece of mind knowing they were in excellent hands. Highly recommend her!
Amanda was absolutely wonderful watching our puppy! She kept us well informed throughout the day and really worked on reinforcing training ?
