I have a fenced in yard for my own dog, even though he spends a majority of his time on the couch:). We have a safe dog friendly neighborhood for walks. My cats rule the house but also have a screened in porch that they love for sunshine naps & lizard hunting.

The more individualized a pet profile is the better the visit will be for both of us. Please let me know any quirks your pet may have or any preferences for treats, toys, head pets or belly rubs they prefer or if they have a specific route for walking they enjoy!
A typical day
The most important part in pet sitting initially is building trust. I will always read profiles to better understand each pet and their needs as well their pet owners preferences for each visit. Once that’s established I will move forward with playtime/activities.

Neighbors, friends & family have relied on me to take care of their dogs and cats for the past 20 years. I’ve volunteered at shelters, adopted my own animals from shelters and had at least one animal in my home my entire life. I love all animals and I look forward to meeting new animal friends every day.

Whether it was a walk, a hangout or check in our chocolate lab loved spending time with Amanda! We didn't worry because we knew he was in great hands :)
I have known Amanda for 12 years. She is a wonderful person that has a big heart for any living creature. She would always take care of our cat or dog even when we were home but sick she would run over to make sure that we were OK, but also that the animals were OK. I highly trust her with any person or pet and think she would make a fantastic addition to you.
Amanda is a true animal lover. She has watched our beloved dog Stella on several occasions and there is no one that I would trust more. We are able to vacation with complete peace of mind, knowing that our dog is being well taken care of.
