My care is always completely individualized to your pet, so the first step is always getting to know you and them, and gaining earning their trust and friendship and figuring out through them and you what they like and what makes them the happiest... Throwing a ball for an hour straight for your silly Lab? Dragging a feathered stick & string behind me while I walk slowly around your house to entice your shy, hiding kitty? Singing the Wicked soundtrack to cheer up your birdie that is missing you? Let me know what their favorite things are, and maybe we can even find some new ones together! 😁

Pet care experience
I am a currently out-of-work veterinary technician of who is now looking to get back out there into animal care! I have a degree in pre-veterinary animal science from UMass Amherst and 15 years of work as a veterinary technician in a small animal hospital, stopping work temporarily to stay home and raise my (now 5-year-old) twins. I am now looking to get back out there and start putting all of my animal love to good use again! I have experience across the board with dogs, cats, small pets, wildlife rehab, special-needs pets, neonatal animals, and many other areas. Feel free to ask any questions you may have; I'd love to talk with you and see if I am the right pet-sitter for your situation and your beloved animal family members!

Mandi (Amanda) is one of the sweetest, most caring animal lovers I've ever known! She is truly a cat whisperer, but is also amazing with dogs, bunnies, birds, and really any little soul that you could think of! Her calm and patient demeanor provides an instant bond and comfort to even the shyest pet, letting them know that she is there for them while their Mommies are away. I was blessed to have Mandi work beside us at an animal hospital for over 9 years, and I still miss her presence every day! That is how special she is, and what a difference she makes in the lives of our fur babies. She is one of a kind, a true angel!
Mandi has extensive knowledge and expertise in caring of all pets. She is also very has gained certifications in animal behavior. I would trust her with any of my pets.
