Medical student who loves dogs!
I’m a current medical student with a lifelong love for dogs and plenty of experience caring for pets with a wide range of needs and personalities. I grew up with rescue dogs, which taught me patience, compassion, and how to work with reactive dogs who need a little extra TLC. I also currently have a senior dog of my own who absolutely loves having dog friends around. Over the years, I’ve been a trusted sitter for friends and family, and I’m excited to offer that same dependable care to new clients and their pets. The services I provide include dog walking in all weather, drop-in visits for both dogs and cats, and occasional boarding in my apartment, which features a small enclosed yard perfect for quick outdoor time. Whether your pet needs exercise, companionship, or a cozy place to stay, I strive to make every animal feel relaxed, engaged, and well-cared for. Because I’m in medical school, my availability varies month-to-month. Some months I’m available throughout most of the day, while others I may have more limited windows—but I always communicate my schedule clearly and ensure I can dedicate quality, attentive time to every pet I welcome. I’m committed to providing reliable, compassionate care and can’t wait to meet your furry family member!

I have one senior dog who does well with children and other dogs. I do not have a crate in my home. I keep all food stored in cupboards and out of reach, and have plenty of cozy nap spots on the couch or on dog beds. I am available for walks in the neighborhood, house visits, and can transport dogs to sniff spots.

Amanda took care of our two cats during our vacation and we couldn't have asked for a better cat-sitter. She followed all our instructions, communication was easy and our cats loved her. We will absolutely reach out to Amanda next time we need a cat-sitter.
Amanda was an AMAZING cat sitter! I absolutely recommend booking her!! She was fantastic with communication, left very detailed notes about my cat’s eating habits (which I appreciated because my cat can be complicated when it comes to food!), took lots of photos (showing that she not only fed the cat but also played and snuggled with her), did every single thing as instructed, and checked in on-time every day. She met up with me at my residence the day before in order to get a tour and also meet the cat, which made me feel so much more comfortable. She even went out and got a new cat water bowl for my cat when she knocked over a shelf and broke the one she had! Amanda went out of her way and above and beyond to be an amazing sitter for us, making my holiday just that much more relaxing as I never felt I had to worry. When I got home everything was exactly as I’d left it :) I highly recommend Amanda!
Amanda is a fantastic pet sitter! My pet rabbit, Hooper, absolutely loved her, and I can't thank her enough for keeping him fed, happy, and safe. Amanda is an excellent communicator, kind, and flexible. I'll recommend her to all my friends, and she'll be my first choice if I ever need a sitter again.

Pet care is a welcomed part of my routine that I look forward to. I am currently available all mornings, and every evening excluding Wednesdays.
