I'd like to light up your pets day!
Hi! My name is Amanda! I am a Registered Veterinary Technician, and making sure pets are happy and healthy is my number one passion! I have been working in the veterinary field for 20+ years including some years in emergency and specialty medicine. I began pet sitting many years ago before college, I love taking care of pets on a regular basis and getting to know their favorite things and places to go. I always go above and beyond when I take care of your pet and home while you are away and always make sure to keep you updated with pictures and text or written notes about each stay or visit so you can know how your pet is doing! I have a vast amount of experience with medications, orthopedic care, senior pet care, pets with neurological disorders, post-surgical care, and so much more.

I routinely check your property for any damage to fences, open gates, or dangerous debris. On walks I make sure to have a well fitted harness or collar (harnesses are preferred) to prevent your baby from slipping loose in the event they get startled or spooked.

Amanda was amazing! Our first time using a sitter and she made the whole process so easy. Her report cards were detailed and our pup looked happy and content. We will definitely be using her again!
Amanda was reliable and did great with our 3 high energy dogs! Leaving them with someone new can feel stressful and having her with them kept our minds at ease while we were away.
Amanda is absolutely amazing and has been such a lifesaver! My family would put off trips or have to make special arrangements when it came to going out of town due to our pups. Amanda first stayed at our home and watched our fur babies in March 2022 and she has stayed multiple times since. Amanda is very professional and takes the time to get to know you and your pets. She took notes the 1st time that we met and we discussed her process and procedures, gets to know what we expect, and just makes you feel safe knowing that your pets will be in great hands. She was even able to get my feisty chihuahua to become best friends! During our trip Amanda sent text updates on how everyone was doing and how their day went. One night we even did a FaceTime since we were missing our babies lol. When we arrived back home our home had been vacuumed, sheets cleaned and bed made, it was as if no one was even here. Amanda had also left professional detailed notes for each day that we were gone. I could keep going on about our great experience with Amanda and how much of a blessing she has been to this family! I highly recommend her!
Amanda is amazing with our two kitties, Kylo and James! She takes care to make specific notes about our boys’ needs and makes sure she understands how to best make them comfortable while we are gone. Amanda is a vet tech, so she knows how to introduce herself gradually to the boys and they have grown to love her! She is also very respectful of our home and space, and we usually find it in better shape than we left it in. We can’t recommend Amanda highly enough for your cat care needs!
We have an older dog that was a rescue so he has some anxiety around people leaving the house for long periods of time. The last thing we wanted to do was put him in a kennel and under a ton of stress. So we decided to try a stay at home pet sitter and we had an amazing first experience with Amanda. Amanda was very clear on communication and kept in contact with us prior to the stay and during the stay. On the initial visit to meet our dog Badger she brought a notebook and wrote down his day. Amanda goes above and beyond pet sitting. She took care of watering the outdoor plants and kept the house so clean and was very nice to all the neighbors that she and Badger ran into on their walks. She even washed all the linens she used. We recieved pictures of Badger while we were gone and he looked very happy. After the stay she emailed us a recap of her stay with Badger and what they did each day and how far they walked. We were so very happy with everything that Amanda provided for Badger and our home that we will definitely use her again.
Amanda was professional, polite and kept our little Badger happy with lots of walks and snuggle time. I would recommend her to anyone needing in-home pet care.
