I’m a dental assistant and have availability after 7pm Mondays, 3pm Thursdays, and 1pm Tuesday/Wednesday/Friday. I dedicate a substantial amount of time for walks and drop ins after and before work.

A typical day
I love playing enrichment games (sniffwork, basic training, puzzles) as well as retrieval and interactive tug play. This helps engage their remarkable sense of smell and builds a better connection. I’m always available for dog walking and drop in visits. I live in the Silver Spring area with my own car to drive to your location. I always do a great job at feeding, cleaning up, and exercise/playing.

Hi! 💖 I’m Amanda, a recent University of Maryland graduate and animal lover. I’ve had dogs, cats, birds, and fish throughout my life and love learning about their fun personalities and behavior. I trained my Labrador retriever as a puppy and have experience caring for dogs of all personalities, including senior dogs with hearing and sight issues, anxious dogs, and animal reactive dogs. I have a medical background and can administer medication(s) if needed. My goal is to make sure your pet feels safe, happy, and loved while giving you complete peace of mind.

Not sure if she’s just never owned a dog before, but if a dog is in a crate, you put them back when you leave. She left our dogs out of the crate when she left, and she did try to reach out to ask, but we were at a funeral and couldn’t respond. She decided instead of being safe and leaving them in their crate, she left them out. We even had sent a message an hour after her initial message and she failed to inform us that she left them out anyways. So we came home to a destroyed house, and they clearly weren’t even walked well because the rover card showed us she just walked in circles around our round about, and the house was COVERED in pee and poop.
Amanda stayed at our home for a week and took care of our 4 elderly dogs. She did a fantastic job. I would have her again for sure. My dogs all adore her. Our alpha dog follows her around. She’s a gem.
