Pet care is a central part of my daily routine. I work from home, which allows me to spend the majority of my day with the dogs in my care rather than being away at a traditional 9-to-5 job. My schedule is built around feeding routines, walks, enrichment, potty breaks, cleaning, and individual attention. While I occasionally leave for errands or appointments, dogs are not routinely left alone for a full workday.

Before booking, I ask all owners to complete a boarding agreement/intake form that covers important information about their dog’s temperament, routine, medical history, medications, allergies, emergency contacts, and any behaviors I should be aware of ahead of time. Honest communication is extremely important to me. The more I know about your dog, the better I can create a safe, low-stress, and fulfilling experience for them during their stay.

Every dog is different, so activities are tailored to their age, energy level, and individual needs. A typical day may include: • Structured walks • Sniffing and exploration time • Enrichment activities and problem-solving games • One-on-one attention • Feeding and potty routines • Plenty of time for rest and relaxation My goal is to provide a balanced day that allows dogs to be active, engaged, and comfortable.

Hi, I’m Amanda! I have several years of professional experience working with dogs in boarding and daycare environments, with a strong focus on behavior, safety, and low-stress handling. I’m comfortable caring for senior dogs, administering medications, following special routines, and working with dogs that benefit from a calmer environment. My background has taught me the importance of understanding each dog’s individual needs and adjusting care accordingly. I also carry pet care insurance in addition to Rover’s protections and believe in clear, honest communication so owners can feel confident while they’re away.

Amanda is simply amazing. She updated me with daily pictures and took my pooch for a daily adventure walk/hike. I feel at ease knowing that Freyja is being loved just as much while I was away for a week. And yes, my dog is not the easiest, she needs a lot of attention and has a hight energy level for a 3 years old Malamute. Thank you again Amanda for providing such a loving boarding experience for Freyja. 🥰
