I work from home so we can provide flexible care and play time for your dog throughout the day between meetings, with more focused attention during lunch. Having a fenced in front and back yard means it's easy to open the door to a little fun, exercise and potty breaks as needed. Since I do work 9-5, dogs that enjoy a bit of down-time and snoozing on the couch will work well. On the weekends, I love to take walks with my two pups at one of the nearby parks, so adding another dog to the mix on weekends fits right into my normal dog care routine.

I treat my dogs like family and yours will be no different. I have a front and back fenced in yard and two dogs of our own plus a toddler to keep your dog company and play with. My dogs love to curl up with me on the couch so I'm happy to add yours to dog pile if they are a cuddle bug too. I also have plenty of baby gates and a play area in our spacious finished basement if anyone needs their own space.

Let me know your dog's routine, any favorite games or toys, quirky traits, how they typically respond when they're away from you, and if they have any special needs that I should keep in mind. It's also good to know what their sleeping habits are like. I'll also need to know if they've been around kids before and how they are around little ones since we have a 4 year old and infant.

My day usually starts with a walk around a local park with lots of time to sniff the interesting flora and fauna along the way. I keep dog beds in my office so that dogs who are feeling snuggly can get extra cuddles while we I'm working or on meetings. During lunch, I like to play ball and run around in either the front or back yard. In the evenings, everyone piles on the couch for some post-dinner snoozes and head scratches before bedtime. We can also put out some peanut butter in puzzles if your pet parent is ok with it!

I've taken care of dogs of all sizes from Akitas to Shelties, and am currently a doting doggy parent to Lola, a Staffy/Boxer mix, and JoJo, a Havanese. Family and friends often ask me to dog sit when they are out of town because they know they'll be in great hands and get lots of snuggles. I've also had dogs with unique personalities and needs like leash aggression, picky eating, and separation anxiety -- so I "get it" that every dog is unique. I'll also send lots of updates so you know your pup is getting lots of belly rubs. I only book with one client at a time, so your dog will get our family's full attention, though we can care for up to two dogs from the same household. I'll sometimes make exceptions to this with the consent of both parties, particularly for repeat clients we know well.
