I work remotely Monday through Friday, which gives me flexibility during the week to care for your pets. On weekends, I sometimes have events for my small business and love spending time with family. Before caring for your pet, it’s helpful to know about their routine, temperament, and any special needs. Does your pet have any allergies, medications, or quirks I should be aware of? How do they do on walks, around other pets, or with new people? The more I know ahead of time, the better I can make sure your pet feels safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away.
A typical day
A typical day with your pet is full of fun, comfort, and care! We’ll start with a walk or some playtime to get energy out. I also have a friendly 5-month-old Golden Retriever puppy named Bella, who loves making new dog friends! If your pup is social, they’ll have a built-in buddy to play with throughout the day.

Pet care experience
I had the pleasure of owning a Golden Retriever for 13.5 years. During that time I trained her, socialized her with other dogs, and gave her a loving home. I learned the different needs and characteristics of the breed and how to handle larger dogs. I'm also knowledgeable on common AKC guidelines.

So excited to find Amanda ! It was so nice to have someone you feel you can trust and rely on. I was nervous searching for someone new and she eased all my anxiety! Amanda was amazing with our dogs, Milo and Lady. She kept us updated with messages and photos, which made us feel completely at ease while we were away. You can tell she truly cares about animals and treats them like her own. Both dogs can be a bit of a handful, but Amanda handled everything with patience and ease. When we got home, they were happy, relaxed, and clearly well taken care of. She’s reliable, attentive, and goes above and beyond. It’s not easy trusting someone with your pets, but Amanda exceeded every expectation. We’d absolutely have her watch them again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a great dog sitter.
