Your dog deserves more than just a place to stay. Hi, I’m Amanda! With over 30 years of hands-on animal care as a lifelong horse owner and experienced pet sitter, I know that leaving your dog isn’t just an errand, it’s an act of trust. My goal is to make that easy. Your pup will never be just “watched” here. I work from home, have a helper on hand, and keep things small so every dog gets real attention, real playtime, and real companionship, not a kennel number. What your dog’s stay actually looks like: A sprawling fenced yard. A spacious dog run with indoor access. A covered patio for any weather. A dedicated dog room for play or downtime. Hikes and swimming trips for the adventurous ones. And if your dog needs quiet, they get that too. I’m also trained in pet first aid and dog behavior, so if something comes up, you’re not hoping for the best. You’re covered. My own dogs are calm and well-mannered. My cats are dog-friendly, and I’ll separate them if needed. Your dog’s comfort always comes first. You should go on your trip without guilt. That’s what I’m here for.

Amanda was AMAZING with my Coco! I got a full tour of where she’d be staying as well as the typical drop off conversation so my heart was immediately at ease! Amanda sent photos and updates often! She knows what she’s doing, she has thorough experience and prioritized my dog in ways that I wouldn’t have expected! 10/10 recommend!
Amanda was GREAT. Even with the mix-up over dates and dollars, which was totally 'my bad,' she remained calm AND professional (at a time when I was upset / confused). Our dog did NOT want to leave her, to go home with us. That is how much loving care, that Amanda gives to pets, I must assume(?) We have never had a bad experience, using Rover. Thank You!

Was a phenomenal caretaker! Worth every penny I spent just to give my dog a vacation. Took several outings and came back washed and clean and so happy. Schedule
I Work from home mostly and have a helper on hand. The pets are a priority and are closely monitored not just with humans on premises but with cameras as well.

Safety, trust & environment
All dogs sleep INSIDE the house. Some dogs are allowed inside all day if they prefer it. Outside/Inside play time is provided continuously. My yard has a 5.5’ block wall fence, green grass and covered porch with water and beds.
Pets
A typical day
I LOVE taking all my visiting dogs on outings. In the summer we make weekly trips to a near by pond or lake for swimming & stick throwing. A kiddy pool is provided outside in the shade. During the coldest part of winter we all go for runs through some near by rural areas. If pups are good off leash they also get to join on trail rides with the horses and really burn off steam. Ball throwing is a regular activity in our home. Shed antlers are often handed off to pups.

- Please let me know what kinds of things your pet is uncomfortable with so they don’t become unnecessarily stressed as well as any medical conditions they may have. We request that bowls (unless an animal requires a slow feeder), leashes & dog beds be left at home. We are full service and don’t want to risk loss or damage to any of your personal things.
