I am currently working full time alternating between Castlegar and Nelson and will be able to look after pets in and around the area. Fear not as I have pets of my own and plenty of time for them and yours should you choose me to care for your furry friend. I have weekends and evenings off that are completely dedicated to my animals care and wellbeing. I live in downtown Castlegar within walking distance of Millennium Park and trails and often walk the trails on a daily basis.

At home I have a 2 bedroom apartment with a large balcony and one bedroom dedicated to boarding/housing pets that need it. I often foster and volunteer with the local SPCA and have had great success with them, as well as the potential for help and security should it be required. I have full access to Millennium Park and trails, as well as a car for transportation should that be required. I have had years of home sitting experience and will bring cleanliness and respect to any home.

Amanda took wonderful care of my senior kitty with caring and empathy on repeated bookings. It made going away possible and easier.
We get pretty nervous about leaving our senior pups with someone new but Amanda did an incredible job. Our pups were happy and relaxed when we got home, and we got several photo updates as well. Our house was left in perfect shape as well. Will definitely be having Amanda back the next time we need a sitter!
Amanda is great! Very professional and so kind to my cat. The guest room is great, it provided stimulation/ climbing as well as security and kept him away from other cats (he’s shy!). I am so glad to have found Amanda and will be working with her again in the future!
Amanda was great. Very adaptive to our rather elderly cat who needs time to warm up to anyone, and she did! Great photos each day. Made going away so much more pleasant and worry-free.
