I have been volunteering for Guiding Eyes for the Blind, a seeing eye dog service, and caring for my own two beautiful yellow labs and a gorgeous grey kitty for over 10 years. I have also been walking dogs consistently for a year now. I am skilled at training dogs and knowing how to handle spunky and shy pups. My favorite activities to do with floofers of any kind are going for walks and runs, playing in the park, giving scratches and massages, relaxing, and loving with them. I am caring towards all animals and am attune to their needs. I am very flexible with times and dates and any extra services that you may need. I am currently perusing my Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology in the city.

We could not be happier with Amanda and the love she showed our babies. We have multiple cats and one dog that she showered in attention and care over the weekend. We received continuous updates on their behavior and the cutest photos! Our dog even ripped the arm off her favorite sloth and she sewed it back on!! We’ve had many care takers over the years and Amanda is TOP notch!!!

Amanda is wonderful. She’s very knowledgeable about dogs and dog behavior and was able to successfully work with my special needs rescue Napoleon, and my chronically ill rescue Nathalie. She even made sure to help meet a cleaning crew I had coming and organize picking up my house key in advance. I’d love to hire Amanda again anytime.
Amanda was a great companion for Pishi. She was very attentive and gave him loads of attention while visiting him. She sent me plenty of photos of him taking cat naps or having intense play sessions. Amanda was also very attentive to any behaviors that she felt may have been out of the ordinary with him and would bring it to our attention. Would definitely have her watch him again.
Amanda is a wonderfully kind and thoughtful person, who treats all pups like they are her own. She has years of experience and knowledge from her experience with raising and training seeing eye dogs, to taking care of her own. Your fur-babies would be in good hands with her.
Amanda is very trustworthy, patient, considerate and caring. She has had a lot of experience caring for and training dogs using positive reinforcement. She has helped raise puppies for Guiding Eyes for the Blind and has good dog sense! Amanda has had dogs most of her life and knows how to care for them responsibly. Dogs love Amanda and her kind nature. Amanda would be an ideal candidate to look after your beloved friend!
