Individualized loving care
I know pets are more than just animals. They're family! And I aim to treat your dog (or cat!) like my own family when we are together. I will provide lots of attention and play time, while also reinforcing rules you have set for them (such as not allowing them on the furniture if you don't allow them on the furniture). I have a strong attention to detail and will be sure to carefully follow any instructions you have for me regarding feeding, schedules, behavior, etc. I don't currently have a dog of my own, but if your doggo is particularly social and loves playing with other dogs, I'd be happy to take them to a dog park or arrange a playdate with one of my friend's dogs. I will always make sure your dog or cat is secure in the area where he or she is supposed to be and will double check all locks before I leave.

To the extent possible, I try to keep your pet in the same routine they are used to having with you, including reinforcing desired behaviors. I would hate to encourage bad habits and have your pet misbehaving when you return!

Amanda was wonderful while watching my dog when I was out of town. She sent lots of pictures, was so sweet about my pup, and was very responsive. She left my apartment very clean. I was so impressed with her. Will definitely be asking her to sit again! :)

Amanda stayed at our house and watched our dog and cat for a week. She was incredibly thoughtful, responsive, and respectful of our home. She dealt with both of our pets’ medical needs and kept us updated on how they were doing. She also came to our house to meet us and our pets before we left. Really everything you could ask for, I would not hesitate to book her again.
Amanda did a great job taking care of my cat Basil. My cat is typically afraid of new people but she took to Amanda very quickly which made me feel so much better. Amanda sent picture updates with every visit and was very responsive.

At this time, sitting is the only service I'm able to provide. I found I was taking on too many drop-in bookings and I spread myself way too thin. I'm a therapist and mostly work remotely and try to minimize the length of time I'm away from your pet(s). If I have any special goings-on during the dates you're looking for care, I will discuss them with you prior to booking to make sure it is a good fit.

- It's super helpful to know if your pup has any specific fears or triggers (like skateboards, other dogs, etc.) so I can do my best to avoid those things and avoid any extra stress for your dog. If your dog is not fully house-trained, I'm probably not the best fit for you.
