I’ll love your pets like my own!
I’ve taken loving care of my own cats and dogs for many years, but after my dogs passed away I have been loving other people’s pets instead of getting my own. I’ve been caring for pets of friends, family, coworkers and additional clients through word of mouth. I’m excited to be giving Rover a try! I would be honored to be entrusted with the care of your furry family member! I have experience with young puppies, elderly dogs & those with special needs, such as epilepsy.

Working in law enforcement, you can trust that I will treat your home and fur babies with responsibility, care and respect. I’ve had the pleasure of pet sitting for at least 10 clients in their home, allowing them to vacation with peace of mind, knowing their cat, dog, chickens, turtles or whatever other pet they have is being well cared for.

Amanda is amazing! She watched our dog and stayed at our house for a week. She sent pictures to me everyday and text me with any questions that she had. She is a very warm and loving person and our dog, Pepper immediately loved her. Amanda is very responsible and helped water our vegetable garden and flowers and left the house immaculate for our return (all sheets and towels washed!) I would definitely recommend her to my friends and will use her in the future.
Amanda has watched our dog several times. She is attentive to her needs which includes giving her medications in the morning and evening for her seizures. She’s playful and loving with our pup, making us feel confident that she’s well taken care of in our absence. We would highly recommend her pet caregiving services.
Amanda is our go to pet sitter. We don’t trust just anyone with our baby, and we never have to worry when he’s in her hands. We love the photos we get each day she checks in on him. While he’s not the most social cat, he trusts her enough to let Amanda pet him, which is HUGE!
Amanda has been an absolute godsend as a house and pet sitter for me on several occasions. She’s taken care of my full household with incredible attention, responsibility, and warmth. Managing a large, energetic golden retriever is no small feat on its own, but Amanda also expertly cared for my high-maintenance red heeler, a skittish cat who doesn’t trust easily, and even my flock of six backyard chickens! Each time I returned home, everything was spotless, the pets were happy and relaxed, and the chickens were clearly well tended—eggs collected, coop clean, and all in good health. Amanda has a calming presence and a natural intuition with animals. My cat, who normally hides from strangers, was actually coming out to greet her by the second visit—a true testament to Amanda’s gentle and patient approach. It’s clear that Amanda genuinely loves and understands animals, and she treats your home with the utmost respect. I wouldn’t hesitate for a second to recommend her to anyone needing a reliable, trustworthy, and deeply caring sitter. She’s simply the best.

Schedule
I work full time (law enforcement), but am available to stay with your pet any day of the week! I generally work Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 4:30 PM. I may be able to come by for pet care over lunch if necessary; details would need to be worked out.
