Prompt, thorough and trustworthy as always. Amanda does a great job.

I booked five visits with this sitter and we met beforehand to discuss specific feeding times and care instructions for my cats. Unfortunately, the services provided did not match what was agreed upon. The sitter was more than two hours late to scheduled visits on multiple occasions. Food dishes containing wet food were left on the floor and not cleaned up, leaving food to sit out for over 24 hours. Litter waste was bagged but not taken outside as discussed. The most concerning issue occurred when the sitter returned my house key and building fob before the booking was complete. I received a message stating that the keys had been placed back in the lockbox even though there was still a scheduled visit remaining. Without the fob, access to my building is not possible, making it impossible to complete the final visit as scheduled and causing significant stress while I was away. The sitter also disclosed that she was experiencing emotional and mental health struggles during the booking. While I genuinely sympathize with anyone facing personal difficulties, pet owners are relying on sitters to provide consistent and dependable care for living animals. If you are not in a position to be present, reliable, or follow through on your commitments, it may be best not to accept new bookings until you are able to do so. When these concerns were brought to Rover’s attention, I found their response to be largely generic and focused on finding a replacement sitter rather than addressing the serious concerns surrounding the care my pets had already received. As a customer dealing with the welfare of my animals, I expected more meaningful support and accountability. As a pet owner, I entrusted both this sitter and Rover with the care of my cats. Instead, I was left worrying about whether scheduled visits would occur, whether care instructions would be followed, and whether my pets’ needs were being met. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend this sitter, and my confidence in Rover as a platform has been significantly diminished. Given the repeated missed expectations, late visits, incomplete care, and the stress this situation caused while I was away from my pets, I expect to receive a some type of refund and appropriate compensation from Rover. The level of service provided fell far below what was promised and paid for, and I do not believe customers should bear the financial burden when basic pet care obligations are not met

Ananda took wonderful card of our dog. The drop-in visits were a welcome break for our dog for long days alone while we were away. Amanda is responsible, caring and professional. Her detailed reports and photos are reassuring that all is well. We are very happy to have found her!
