I’m currently available full-time to provide pet care. I am between jobs at the moment, giving me all the more time to spend with your dog! Generally, open availability 7-days a week.

I provide a very loving, attentive, and safe environment for animals. I am highly adaptable to the specific needs of each dog I care for. My years of on-leash experiences with all different dogs have built a confidence in safe handling and training strategies.

I’d love to hear all about the specific details of your care routine, so I can individualize a care plan to your pets’ specific. needs. For ex: what time to feed them and how much? Do they take any medication? When and how? Do they have any food allergies or food to avoid? How many bathroom breaks and the timeline? How many walks a day and for how long? Any triggers - both on or off leash? What makes them their happiest?
A typical day
I promise to provide your pet with a true home-away-from home staycation. I will provide them with the same stability and structure in their everyday life, with things like feeding and bathroom schedules. But, will simultaneously provide them with new adventures and a lot of care and attention. We will make sure to engage in their favorite activities - whether that be a long walk, game of tug-o’-war, or some good couch snuggles.

I have always had a special way with dogs. From training and caring for my childhood golden retriever, to starting a neighborhood dog-sitting business with my sister, to walking dogs part-time ever since. I have over 15 years of professional experience walking and boarding dogs of all sizes, breeds, needs, and ages. I promise to provide individualized care to cater to your dogs specific needs!

Amanda watched my 7 year old dog Gordon for a a week while I was overseas and was absolutely wonderful. She sent me frequent pictures to let me know he was doing OK which is always nice when you are far away from your pup. Gordon is iffy with other dogs on leash so I always look for a sitter who is comfortable handling that, and she was!
Amanda is a great, she watched my bulldog for a week and had great communication throughout the entire stay. Photo updates all the time! My dog had some separation anxiety and she was very helpful in solving the issues.
